I keep getting phone calls from this place but they never leave a message. They have left as many as 8 blank messages in one day.

Whatever this place is, they keep calling and then not leaving a message. They have called as many as 8 times in one day before. I know nobody in NJ.

I recieved a call from this number around 7PM yesterday night. The woman on the line asked me if I had recieved the new yellow pages and I said no and then she said is your adress this (and said an address) and that she was trying to confirm the address. I hung up after that. Good thing she didn't have the correct address :) LOL

Called at 5pm PAC time, I didn't bother to answer.

I received a call from this number at 7:35 central time and a recorded message asked about my local yellow pages and if I had recieved them. Stupid me, I pressed the number that corresponded with no...I wonder now if someone will call back and try getting my address.

I received a call at 6:08 PM today, December 11, 2007, from 973-785-3000. Answering machine picked up and they hung up.

I received a call from them today at 4:20pm PST. My caller ID showed the number and CAC as the name of the caller. I didn't answer it and let it go to my voice machine. They didn't leave a message. I am on the no-call list. It hasn't stopped another company using a 379 area code from doing the same thing day after day. I finally answered one of their calls and immediately began hitting every button on my phone several times before hanging up. They haven't called back in weeks. I'll try that with these people too.

Received a call from the number..did not answer...did not leave msg. Called it back and said it was an automated call to find about about delivery service of newspaper or phone book in our area.I have opted out of the phone book delivery. Our paper is local and not solicited by phone.We are on the do not call list!

If they are really checking on the distribution of the AT&T yellow pages it seems reasonable.If there were some way their ID could identify their connection with the mission they would get way more cooperation from the recieving end. Recently had a call like these from the distributor of our white pages and would have been glad to answer their questions about the phone book distribution.

to the person wondering how the phone company got his unlisted number: um ... think about it.
