If they call your cell phone, you might be able to block the number through your cell service provider. I can block them for 90 days. At that point I need to renew it for another 90 days. But by then they have generally quit dialing me. Good luck.
They have called my Google Talk number (which has rarely been used ANYWHERE) four times in the last week and hung up when I sent it to voicemail. If they are legit, then they should have left a message and let me decide to call them back or not. Hanging up every time doesn't equal a legit query in my book.
Yesterday, my caller ID showed 2 calls from these people, within 1 hour of each other. After the first call I blocked their number. When they called back the second time; my machine kicked them off the line. I strongly suspect that these people are fishing for something, more than what they are telling you. How do we know for sure, that they are who they say they are. Just because they say so, doesn't make it so. Example: The Indian speaking people calling to tell you that your computer is in need of service, and that they are from either Microsoft, or IOLO. Yeah right. I don't believe callers today, even if their tongues come notarized. It's not our jobs to monitor their employees.. Beware!!!!!
No one said it was the end of the world but we should not have to be bothered with unwanted calls.
Hung up when answered, did not leave message on machine on second call. On DO NOT CALL List both Federal & State wide.
I agree with all the posters who believe these calls are not legit. Why don't they respect the DNC list? Are they exempt? Why would that be? I get continual calls from this number. They never leave a message - it is just plain aggravating.
