When I get a call from an '800', area code not familar with or 'unknown caller' I just pick up and listen and in abt 32 seconds it (robo call) hangs up. I assume machine is voice activated.
received recorded call from this number 973-785-3000, on June 21, 2007, at about 10:15 am CT.the voice said he "was calling to verify your company information" at which time i said "hello?" to be sure it was a recording, then hung up.

I got two calls this week from a 973#, I let the answering machine pick up.The first was a woman saying she sorry she missed us, and the second on this 973# said something about going shopping, sounds pretty weird, especially if they are from N.J. and Im in Tx.The only thing I can think of is that N.J. just got this new area code, and its just one digit off of mine?
