Sure we are all mad at the banks for receiving TARP funds. Shame on them for sucking up the taxpayers money. Maybe they would not be in a world of hurt if THEY treated their customers with dignity and respect instead of changing the terms of our cardholder agreements whenever they feel like it. They can still be profitable if they charged a 'reasonable' interest rate. By the time the collectors get the account, the interest is around 25% and most of the balance is interest. When you validate why dont you break down what is principal and what is interest? Because its too embarassing for you to do so, that's why!! We are taxpaying fools to vote the reps in that voted to give the banks the money and allow them to continue their unscrupulous acts against consumers. The banks are profitable against the backs of consumers!!!

This is to “The Collector”.I don’t know which slime bucket you slithered out of, but, here a revelation for you. You generalize and blame everyone for stealing money. Well you got B—ls I will say that. Without going in to the obvious ways people can get caught up in these bad debt situations, let me say one thing. When someone lends money or provides credit (usu. with very high rates) they expect to make a lot of money. Along with that expectation, they are aware that they are taking a RISK. Maybe you have not read the news the last few years. Does the name “Madoff” ring a bell. Those people that lost money in the hundreds of million, how could that have happened??? You give over your money, hope that you get back a lot more and pray that there is little risk.Inside information for you: Creditors have an account on their books called “Reserve for bad debts” Ooops! My my, you mean they know that some of their loans might not be collectable?Just as those like you say “do not borrow if you can not pay it back” I say do not lend anymore if you can not take the risk or absorb the loss!For people in the so-called business of collections, paint this on your walls “TWO WRONGS DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT”

this is true - if you do have a dispute with your account that may not have been resolved prior to our firm the best thing to do is to fax over the dispute asap as well as the documents backing up the dispute and why you are not responsible for the ongoing debt. It does happen, there your dispute will be on file and referred to the creditor but keep in mind it has to be prooven that it is not your debt and with that the fax will have to contain as such. if not a dispute the best thing to do is to call in and speak to a rep and try to come to an agreement to resolve.

actually it is not harrasment to call you to pay your bill,neither a threat to give you knowledge on what reprocutions may be done. It is actually helpful.would you rather us not tell you then to later be served and then you ask why?? we are truthful and are here to try and resolve it with you. harrassing is to call you 8times a day scream at you etc...but we do not we are highly trained and educated to where it is all about communication.sorry if you do not like to be told and asked to help work with you to resolve it to switch it up like you are being harrased. maybe you should listen instead of hanging up because it will effect you and your well being not ours. it is a hard job we are not here to harm you we are case managers that call you to help.
