Zwicker and Assoc have been calling my daughter in ref to a bill debt and I was trying to help her with it and now they are calling my cell phone. My daughter has moved out and living in another address in another county. When I did try to negociate with them they were very rude and threatend to garnish her wages. The debt is an unsecured dept. I have received 3 calls from them today on my cell. My daughter has spoken with them and already told them not to call me.

I totally agree with you...people do not get behind on debts because they are lazy or irresponsible... they get behind because the economy hits the skids, one or more people in the home have lost their jobs, and then the credit card companies stick it to us lowering our credit limit to LESS than what we already owe, then charging over the limit fees and then late fees when you can't pay! Get over yourself, whoever the person is who works for Zwicker! You should be ashamed of yourself! It could be YOU on the receiving end of this crap! These people ARE scumbags and I will not deal with them! If they want to take me to court, I am loaded for bear ... let them bring it! I have kept extremely precise notes of all the calls and threats. If they take this any further, I will join in the class action lawsuit that has already begun against Zwicker!

never let them know you knows, but to file for anyone to file for wage garnishments or liens they must do so in the county where YOU live. No one in another state can file the paperwork and certified court documents without appearing in person, at the court house and signing before a court clerk! don't let them bully you

You're responsible for balances charged, late fees, interest, finance charges, penalties.Yep, agree I am responsible for the money/items I bought, Yep I have no problem paying a Late fee, I'm Late, so there fore I owe the fee. But oops, I was late twice, Because it's hard to come up with the money to make the payment when I don't get a paycheck anymore. Still willing to pay the late Fee. But, NO the Creditor now will Up my rate to 29.9% to punish me for being late, and paying a late fee. All of a sudden my payment of min:$45. That I always payed Double on goes up to Min:$125 Which I really find hard to pay with NO income. Did I mention, No Unemployement because I own my own business and only get paid if there are profits, Therefore no Unemployment insurance for me. By the way, did talk to the creditor many times and explained the situation to them. They would get a small amount, freeze the account, and no more interest or penalties. They agreed. But wanted $360. a mounth to to come out of a checking account automatically. I did not agree to that because there would be no way of knowing how much would be in the account at any one time. They still went ahead and started taking money out of the account which over drew me and cost me even more money with the bank. Closed account, told company I will pay when i can or I will file bankruptcy.. Choice: some money as I can or NO MONEY EVER! Guess they get NO MONEY EVER! Hate to be that way, but just trying to keep an 80 yr old service business in Business and several people employed. Nothing is Black and White in Today's World.Thanks for letting me Vent!

They left some strange message: "um no, he actually was having me deliver your message when I was seeing you, but I was just not seeing you, but are ya'll seeing each other?"

i too recieved a similar call. I didnt give them anything yet. should i disregard them?

Kate I Hope you never get in the situation of having No income and using everything you have saved for 20yrs to keep it all together. Rarely is anyone Proud of filing Bankruptcy. Granted There are a few who would do it over and over again, Thus the "reform" that made it really hard for those that need to file. I must be a Dead Beat, Cause I own a Business and Will have to file Bankruptcy, because Creditors think that theirs is the Only debt and that it must be paid before all else. Told couple of them sell the equipment and Force me to file Bankruptcy, May take them about 2 to 6 months to get their equipment. File bankruptcy and put 4 other people on unemployment and watch them go down the tubes because they can no longer make their bills. By the way, do you want to loan me the $1000+ that it costs to file Bankruptcy, I'm a little short on money.

This number has called me on my cell phone 10 times in the past 30 minutes. They never leave a message and I will not answer a call from someone that I don't know.
