Caller has thick accent - wither African or Caribbean .Received call stating I was selected by Federal Government to receive $9000 grant.for having a clean criminal record.I started laughing and asked if people actually believe them and if there are people stupid enough to fall for this.I told them to put me on do not call list.

Got the same call today. I asked if you have my information you can mail me a check r go f*&k yourself.

I so agree. this is the case now in so many areas that I don't have enough time left in this living shell called Mary to get into it. So as for myself I will just do what I can because I refuse to give my energy away to things that are out of my control. I will stay peaceful and get a laugh from thinking of what there faces would look like if they get did get my Identity . Thank GOD WE HAVE THE POWER OF CHOISE TO CHANGE OR TREAT PEOPLE AND LIFE AS WE SHOULD BECAUSE ITS NOT GETTING ANY BETTER . TAKE CARE.

Just got a call. Took a couple seconds before I just heard some breathing and shuffling, like the phone was stuck in the back pocket of their jeans. I said "Hello" multiple times and the caller just hung up.

Just got same call. Caller had heavy accent. Much noise in background, I couldn't understand what she was saying. When I asked, "Did you say you are calling from the United States Government?," she hung up. First time I got this call on my cell. I just signed up for No Call List a week or two ago. Apparently not working.

Got this call on my cell phone from a lady (with a thick accent) for a once in a lifetime federal government grant of $15,000. wanted place it on a card or in account. i said i don't understand and hung up.

I agree, I just texted someone about 10 minutes earlier about something on craigslist and then got this call. That is really strange and I will not be texted or calling anyone on craigs list again.

Same call as reported previously. The callers accent was so thick I could barely understand what was being said. Heard "US Government" several times then I just hung up.

Got this call to my cell phone, didn't pick up since I was on another call, no message left. Didn't recognize number.

Just got the call. I played along for a while until it wasnt funny anymore. Told them I had no bank account or debit card. Told them to just send me a check. Was told that wasnt allowed. Then they said they could they could load it on a prepaid card. I told them good, just send me one. Of course that wasnt allowed. It finally got old, so I told them I guessed I was just out of luck and hung up.
