Also got a call today on my cell phone number from this phone number. Was around 4pm cst. I did not answer and there was no voicemail left. Glad I googled it.
I just received a call from this number on my cellphone. They called at 9:25am central time. I didn't recognize the number so i'm glad i didn't answer it. It was probably a scam. Be aware of this number.
I recieved a call from this number and the male caller had a thick accent and could hardly speak english. He said he was with some government department and i was 1 of 1700 people selected to recieve a tax free grant of 7,900. Of course i immediately knew it was a phishing scam. He ask me for my checking account or credit card number so that the money could be direct deposited.
Got a call and after a few seconds a person with a thick accent, Arab in nature, said that it was from the United States Government. I said "alright" and hung up.
Received a call at 10:44am ET. There was a short pause before the caller spoke up. The caller spoke with a thick accent (probably Indian), and from what I could make out, it was a scam saying I would get 9 thousand dollars from the US Government for having good credit. At the end of her pitch, I tried to ask her a question about her company, the caller disconnected
caller with an oriental accent, offered me a free $9000.00 U.S grant all they needed to give it to me was my bank acct. # or a credit card #
Received a call last evening from this phone number. The woman said something about being from the US Government and 9,000 grant. I told her I could not understand what she was saying (very thick accent) and asked her to repeat was she was saying. I still could not understand her, told her not interested and hung up. Obviously a scam.
Caller had a heavy spanish accent, wanted to give me 9,000$ from USgovernment due to my not ging into banckuptsy and paying bills on time. When I kept asking female caller why and why so much background noise she gave phone to gentleman who repeated same message two more times. At end asked for my bank account for direct deposite. When I asked why not a check, they hung up. Phone number did show up on my phone. Thant's better than some of the calls where all you get is that the number is blocked.
