Yet another number for Portfolio Recovery Services, aggressive debt collector with inumerable phone numbers from all over the US.
They keep calling me looking for someone else, this has nothing about me paying my bills.Oh, and lay off the caps lock. Just sayin...
This company gets your home and cellular numbers by running your credit report. Then they begin calling you for 10 years or more. This is long after the debt has become legally uncollectable and perhaps even dropped off your credit report.
Thanks guys - I'm on their list for credit cards cancelled in bankruptcy over 10 years ago. Told 'em I disputed their claim that I owed them and asked for paperwork showing where I agreed to pay THEM when the cards were cancelled. They sent me the original docs from creditor. That still doesn't tell me where I agreed to pay THEM. My attorney says they're out of line and way past any legal time frame to file suit or other action to collect.
I got a phone call from them this morning. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize and they didn't leave a message.
oh yeah, and this is at least the 25-30th number I've had them call from in the past 2 years -- including some local ones.
they have called from at least 10 different numbers my mom has limited time on her phone, and they are harassing her, is there anyway to make them stop

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.
