They even said I was being hacked by users from nijeria and new mexico. And that is how nijeria was spelled on the thing they sent to the computer.
Called today at 10:05, I let it go to the machine. C.I.D. only said California. Message on the machine said, "hello, hello". That seems to be the standard.
Got call at 9 am. saying "Hello". "I am from Windows, and the past few days we have been getting notifications that something is wrong with one of your computers" I stopped him and said "Not on my computer ...Don't call me again" and hung up. SCAM
Called, but left no voice mail. I never answer my phone unless I recognize the number. Also, I turned off the ringer a few years ago. All I see is the flashing light. Makes for a very peaceful day that way.
I'm going to check on Amazon and hope I can find something to block entire area codes because my phone or answering machine don't block much. I never answer my phone any longer so if it is important anyone can leave a message. In the past I have answered this call before and it is scary. I also wonder why anyone would even listen to this type of call---want to fix my computer---- yeah, right.
I tend to let these ring as my system is maxed out for blocking. However, I was near the phone and decided to say "Hello" - silence and then a dial tone. When will I ever learn?

Got several calls from this number and other numbers claiming to be Microsoft Technical Support.I called Microsoft security and they informed me that this is a scam. Microsoft do not call anybody about computer problems. They said that the call is normally generated in India and they use false caller I'd info in the US. They cannot do anything about it since the calls are oriented overseas. Do NOT give them any info.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
