Second call in a week from 219-631-2059, caller says Hello this technical support from Microsoft. Yea right, like Microsoft has time to check on my computer. The long and the short of the call is: I told him to shove his technical support up his ____fill in the blank.

Received another one of these your computer has a virus call, like so many others have received. I have found they tend to hang up or begin sputtering when I ask them to identify which windows operating system I have. This last one I asked for their call back number, which appeared on caller ID. When that was declined, I started having fun with them. I ended the call when I got to the point that I told the caller I have an apple computer. Don't disclose any information that these clowns can use and don't open your computer to look at anything they might want to access. I agree with the person posting before me, Microsoft would not have time to bother checking my computer for errors, even in a perfect world.

Same thing: however, the Punjabi dude called me this morning on a Saturday, no less, at 9:00am sharp, and started his speel. He asked questions like "do you have a computer?, Are you in front of your computer? Do you have a Windows keyboard? etc." I had read about this scam, so it was hard for me to not laugh the whole time. When he got to the part where he wanted me to press the windows button, and something else, I finally told him that Microsoft would NOT call somebody like this, and especially on a Saturday morning at 9:00am, and to have a nice day. I hung up!

I keep a compressed air horn by the phone. If someone is actually there when I get the robocalls, which is rare, I give them a long blast with the horn. You can get these horns at any boat supply place.

These guys from MS?We only use Apple Macs here.Too bad for them.Morons.

Got a call to my cell phone (which is registered to block these). Block worked well and after I answered no one was on the line. BUT, why can't these blocked numbers be intercepted BEFORE they wake me up from my afternoon nap???

Just a received a call from this number this morning. I picked it up. The guy's voice (indian accent) said he is representing Microsoft. He said that their is a program in my computer their infecting their system. I told him " THIS IS [***]" and I hang up.I never believe on those thing.. How could a Microsoft employee or some sort like will ever contact me.... Totallly Bull!

Some youthful sounding moron with a foreign accent (Pakistani? Indian?) who said he was "calling about your computer". I hung up on him. Is there a boiler room full of these jerks?

Received a call today. Claimed to be Microsoft Tech Support.I think we need to start a legal movement at the national level to stop this sort of fraud from occuring. Phone numbers are not anonymously created. The person or organization has to purchase them through a provider. The person/organization owning the phone number should be prosecuted after x-amount of complaints. And the phone provider should be required to obtain and verify certain pieces of information before selling phones so that we don't have off-shore folks scamming Americans out of money or information.Contact your congressman and news stations. Lets get this going!
