This number called today at 3:47 pm PDT. CID said CELLULAR CALL. I let the phone ring while I googled the number (there is no way to leave a message) and directly under the 800notes line there is an entry from the Federal Trade Commission. The article dated November 19, 2014 said the FTC has sued three phony tech support companies here in the US! For all those who think reporting these calls is a waste of their time please google it yourself and enjoy the reading. Score one for the good guys. BTW, this phone number was also listed as a scam number so I never did answer.
Received a call from this number today. Someone was on the line, but never said anything today. Calls from this number in the past have been from someone claiming to be a Windows Computer technician. He says that his company has detected that my computer has viruses and needs to be repaired immediately. He wants my credit card number so that the repairs they make can be paid for. He hangs up when I tell him I don't have a windows computer. What a bunch of garbage....not to mention a complete waste of time@
WARNING!!! Don't give this scam artist your personal information: Social Security Number, Credit Card Number, etc. PLEASE call the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION at (877) 382-4357 and complain. The more people who call, the more likely the scam artists will be shut down.
Sounded like some guy from India. Started talking about my Windows computer and downloading a virus, and when I told him I use a Mac he quickly changed his story
The same thing happened to me when they told me my address. I am now on the phone with ATT to get these numbers blocked.
I got one yesterday on my house phone from Pad Pad Esperanz (209-631-2059), didn't answer, never left message. Got one from Cell Phone (209-631-2059) today on my cell phone, didn't answer, never left message. This is so annoying. Is their anything that can be done to make them stop!!!

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
