This num called me yesterday telling me about a restraining order.. I tried to take this to the police but they told me its nothing they can do all they told me was to block the calls...

caller called my cell phone threatening to call my employer if I don't have my attorney contact them ,.talked about a complaint being filed agaginst me and a restraining order. Don't even give them the satisfaction of a return call. They will eventually stop calling.

Received the same message twice. Said I needed to respond within 24 hours or they would contact my employer. Said I needed to appear in court in regards to a restraining order. This is a bunch of junk. I really wish we could track these people down and take them to court! Nothing but LIES!

I got the same message. Called the number back it just kept saying the mailbox was full.

I recieved a call from a private number stating I had charges filed and a restraining order against me, and that I needed to call my lawyer. They left a number 216-644-1249. I called it and got a recording. I will be blocking this number, and when I get the next one I will give my usual reaponse that they are on an unsecured line. That seems to get scammers, especially the ones from outside of the US off the line.

Received same call today-1. threatening restraining order-true collection calls do not threaten restraining orders 2. threatening to call my employer to see if I am still employed 3. and threatening to take me to court-without papers, they are just blowing smoke- the problem is they were busted for taking money out of my checking out when I did not take a payday loan-my bank paid me back the money and went after them-now they are pissed-but they can't touch me because they would have to prove I took a loan and I didn't. They call once every other month and the number show up as unknown. They leave voice mail, I call back to actually go off on them and get a mail box indicating it is full. I know they are frauds, because they would have someone answer and you would get something in the mail and if it's as serious as they try and make it sound, what you would get in the mail would be registered with an adult's signature having to sign. I have not received any of the above.

you can usually work with the payday loan company and tell them you would like to pay something towards the loan. if they agree, have them put it in writing. I really doubt if the same people calling you have anything to do with the payday loan you owe. they are trying to scare you, don't let them. just see what you can work out with the payday loan company you have. if you can't it will go into collections and on your credit and that's all that will happen. You won't be able to take out another payday loan and that could work out in your favor. we all know those loans trap people and if you can't pay it back in full don't use them. been there done that and I filed bankruptcy to get rid of them. Now I won't touch them. if an emergency comes up, I just have to deal with it.

Received call pertaining to a restraining order, contacting employer, I do not have an employer to contact. I received about 4 calls but did not bother to answer,

I just got the same message saying that they will be calling my employer.
