I received a voicemail from an unavailable number They leave threatening messages saying that there is a restraining order against me and they were going to contact my employer regarding a private matter. They threatened with a restraing order if I didn't call back. When I call the number back it is someone there is no answer and it says that the mailbox is full and cannot accept any more messages. The number received to call was (216) 644-1249. I don't answer restricted/unavailable calls.
I received same message and they are telling me I took out a payday loan. What is interesting is the timeframe they claimed I took the loan out I was in the hospital having surgery.
Just got the same voicemail...they sound more professional than others...glad to come here and see others getting same calls and that it's nothing to be afraid of! The threatening tone and words are a bit unsettling though!
I got a call for a 1-216-644-1249 telling me I needed to contact their office as they are refraining from contacting my employer because i have complaint filed against me for debt that i owe. and that i will be getting arrest as a warrant has been sent out if i do not call back right away... this is very disturbing. I call back and it says i must leave a message and to press 5 but it does not allow me to leave a message. ? Also said i have 24 hours to contact my lawyer if I dont call them back and they will call my employer and have me arrested.
I received a call from LRS litigation on my cell and within 2 hours at my place of employment. I called the number back and got a message saying that the mailbox was full and did I want to leave a call back number. I pressed 1 and was then asked if they wanted to use the number that I was calling from or an alternate number. I opted for the alternate number and put in 911. Sorry to any 911 operators but I wonder if they will call it. I get this call atleast once a month and my boss answered the one at work and questioned me about it. I could lose my job over stupid fraud calls. I told her it was fraud and to just ignore it and that I had reported it to the proper authorities but their hands are tied. Got to love people that try to scam people and can't even dial a phone they have to use automated english voices so that someone may fall for it.
They have been calling at work. Stating that I have a law suit against me and that they will be calling my employer. Stop the harrassment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just received a call froma blocked #. They left a voicemail stating my name, that they have reframed from calling my job, but if I don't called back within 24 hrs that legal papers would be filed against me. And something about a restraining order. I'm like wtf, so I call back it says voicemail is full. But let me leave my phone number. Is this some kind of joke?
Just got a recording message from 216-644-1249. No live person, but said to press 1 to speak to a litigator. Now that I noticed that there were alot of people complaining about this phone number, I am not going to worry about it.
I received that same call. As soon as the voice mentioned restraining order it became quite obvious that whoever put the message together has no idea what they are talking about. First off, no agency calls somone to tell them that they have a restraining order against them. Restraining orders are served. (Usually brought to your house in person and/or delivered in the mail) Plus a restraining order is an order of protection usually placed against someone to keep them from either going near someone else or something or to keep them from doing harm against someone else or something. It's most often used for person-to-person type issues such as domestic violence, sexual harrassment, stalking, terroristic threats, etc.
