It is legit -- I called BoA and they confirmed it. Still, caller ID can be spoofed so call the number on your card.

No message, the phone rang about 3 times. Who and what are you calling about?

I received a call from this number at 1116 eastern time today. I was into my second bite of my pimento cheese sandwich, w/ black olives. I was drinking a Mt. Dew....... Why was I drinking a Mt. Dew you ask? Because I live in the South, and most Rednecks or Males here drink it. It's mighty tasty. I have been drinking it for the past 28 years. (wow, thats a long time) Damn, I'm getting old..... I just turned 42 in May. "Cinco de Steveo" is what my friends call it. Some folks won't drink, "The Dew", cause they think there to good for it! You know those people? The 'Posers" (sp) that drink the Perri-air water, and they try to drink it with there little finger sticking out........Freaking Homo's!... Oh yeah, forgot about my pimento cheese sandwich, when I got to my third bite. I forgot about the call, the call went to VM, and they never left a message... Gotta go, I'm heading to Harbor Freight now. l8r

Automatic call from BoA. They thought there was a fraudulant charge on my card. It was a legit purchase I made. They just noticed it was a charge I wouldn't normally make. I called the 800 number on the back of the card.

Yes. Had one yesterday. Same # + 1 call back. Did not give ANYTHING. Excuse my english, can't trust NOTHING!!!

The caller ID said Card Services. This is from Bank America fraud dept. It is legit. The only information I had to give was the billing zip code of my card and confirm they were talking to right person. They asked about a high dollar purchase I made from Amazon.com.

I received several calls from this number. never answered. I called bank of america through the number provided on their website... and asked them about the number. Weather it is at all associated with them... they said NO ... anyone who tells you otherwise is lying!

This number is Bank of America's Fraud Department. Got a call yesterday, I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. The third time they called they left an automated message about my credit card however just to be sure it was actually Bank of America I called the phone number that is listed on the back of my card. Sure enough there were some charges that were trying to be posted that I did not make.
