I received a call from that number saying that they needed to give me a new medical card. I don't have a medical card. Anyone who says this is NOT a SCAM is also a scammer! BEWARE!
I am currently on the phone with BOA and it is FRAUD! They called and asked for my husbands ID, the CVC on the card and the expiration date. I called the bank and they canceled his card and are sending him a new one. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!! It's Sunday for god's sake. No bank calls on Sunday.
I confirm, BoA doesn't call you. I woke up to an email alerting me of "suspicious activity" and to verify my account immediately, to continue using my debit card, otherwise limitations would be set on it. It went on to say that the email came from BoA & to verify THAT, log in & check under "alerts". I called the BoA # on my card & it was legit - they told me there were 3 ATTEMPTED puchases, to JCPenny from someone in Texas...I don't live in Texas. You get emails, not calls.
this is a valid number - the recording is from Visa (that is how it can be from both BOA and Chase banks). thanks to this site i did call BOA after i received the automated call and was informed that it was true and Visa had alerted them to "suspicious activity" on my card. i am being sent a new card in the mail - as the automated message stated.
You're the 2nd person to say it's legit, as someone tried to "use it at Home Depot".....
Could you do a request???---- "Hit the Road, Jack" by Ray Charles??Thank you and Happy November!
After 414 entries & 19 pages- It is not important if this number is real or not. NEVER give personal information on any phone call you did not make. NEVER click on a link in an email or text message. Bank account, utilities, credit card. Use the number from phone book, statement or back of card. Phone numbers & web pages are easily faked. In a phone call you can be talking to anyone. If you think there is a problem, make the call yourself.
[***] bofa says the have nothing to do with this number and its a scam
It is a scam! I have never done business with boa...EVER...yet they still contacted me. Sent directly to the from. So....you are also lying!
This site is not monitored so take it for what it is worth. I did get the call from 315-724-4022 and I did not call BOA. I checked my account online and no issues. It does feel like a scam.

much like the other reports, number claiming to be NSLSC which doesn't line up with the number on the website regarding the transfer of a student loan into repayment. Especially troubling since I only just started getting them when my loan entered ... read more

Why is this number and extension #145 on my phone?????
Scam. An attempt to get bank account information and then a request to transfer money to the scammer's account.
I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
Got a text from “SpeedX” from (844) 866-3737 stating that my delivery is on its way. It’s not clear what that is. I’m just a person not a company. It stayed to verify my address. Nope. The url seemed legit but didn’t click on it. Reverse ... read more
