Received a call 2 days in a row. Caller id says "Amy Murphy". When I answer the phone goes dead. Called the number back and the message said the number is not in service. Cox Communications.
Rec'd 2 calls because "Microsoft windows Tech's " monitored our computer and we have recently downloaded a virus . They would walk me through fixing it. The first time the connection combined with the accent (Indian) made it impossible to understand what he was saying. So he called back. Explained who he was (haha) and why (scam) to which I replied you have got to be kidding me . In no case, in no world am I giving information to someone who randomly calls my house and claims my computer has a virus. No way no how. CLICK
Fraud don't answer don't talk to them!!!! Supposedly support from Microsoft for my computer.
wanted to sleep in but called at 8:10AM & I foolishly answered. Happens to call on occasion to "fix" computer. Advised female caller that her "Amy Murphy" scam is old and worn out. I assume by the caller's accent indicates she originates from somewhere in the Indian subcontinent. I pray that Shiva fills his multiple arms with sharp daggers and carves his way from her anus and up through to remove her lying, scamming tongue.
Caller said that I had a computer virus issue. I told her many times that I did not have a computer and that I also could not understand her vey well. Then I hung up. She actually called me back and yelled at me for hanging up on her then she called me a liar for saying I did not have a computer. then she asked if I lived alone and I hung up on her again.
