Electronic forgery is not on the down turn. What keeps it going? Legitimate numbers can be spoofed and apparently, change that, evidently this is one that has. The built in holes of the computer program is easily corrupted because of the semantics. Through this world I've seen a lot of f*&&%^N Crooks some will rob you with a six gun some with Symantecs

I received a call from this number asking me to authorize "electronic messages." I think it's legitimate because I have also gotten emails from PayPal about it. Of course I will only do that sort of thing after logging into my account from my browser. Not through a link in an email and certainly not over the phone in an unsolicited phone call. Also, you can set your account up to disallow any charges you don't directly authorize. They can send you a text with a number that has to match and must be entered within a few minutes.

We had a fraudulent charge to our credit card from Paypal DHGATE 402-935-7733. This is a legitimate Paypal number, however the charges from the company DHGATE were fraudulent. The Paypal customer service rep. gave us the information they had on file for the company and said the money will be refunded to our card within 1-2 weeks.

I have been called by a man (Victor) with a very strong accent, I had quite a fun understing him. I am French.He made me believe that my computer was about to experiment a bad failure. I could not get rid of him. I think he was in England.He succeeded in taking CAN $ 359.66 from Paypal. Right after, I try to communicate to this Victor, to undo the transaction. He is on Skype. I never got any bill for this transaction and I don't even understand what I am supposed to have with that amount, a kind of taking care of my ordi, the worse thing is that I gave him the right to enter it. I have been so stupid. I was abused.The only phone number the bank has is this one : 1 402 935 7733.Can you HELP me please ?

It's not a fraud or a scam, it really is Paypal, specifically the department that handles charges that do not seem legitimate and they want to verify the transaction with the card holder.
