Wife received call today from someone who said they were calling from macy's and asked for me, when I called back the person simply identified himself as "John" but did not say what company he is with or working for. He then claimed that the account was in my wife's name. Obviously some kind of Scam is going on.

I have been recieving a minimum of 5-8 calls every day from this number and no one is leaving a message. It all started around mid march? From the comments that I have read it seems that someone is acting like they are from Macy's. However, I have never opened an account from Macy's nor any of there affiliate companies. This is getting old...

Ok so these people call multiple times a day, even on Sundays. When i answer the phone I get no answer and they never leave a message on my answering machine. When I answered the phone today and started pressing random numbers a woman answered and claimed to be "Mrs. Holmes" and said to call her back with an 800 number. She didn't say what she wanted.I do have pastdue accounts with macys but Macy's has called before and left a message like "this call is regarding Macy's...". Idk if it's different people of what but it's getting annoying. From 10am-8pm they constantly call my house.

BEWARE These people are calling from INDIA. They are trying to steal your identity. Never give your account or personal info over the phone unless you know who you are talking to. I kept them on the phone for 15 minutes just trying to find out who they were. The lady said she was from INDIA and when she found out I didn't have a Macy's card she hung up on me and we haven't heard back from them so far.

I got calls from this # many many times for the past several month! I didn't pick up for a long time because I don't pick up unknown #s. But after I googled and learned that it was Macy's Collection Dept and I have $0 balance on my Macy's card, I started pickign up. I wouldn't say 'hello' and wait for them to introduce themselves, but they themselves said nothing. They've been doing this for the past 3-4 months. I finally got fed up and I canceled my Macy's card.And when I told Macy this was the reason for canceling my card, she confirmed that it was their collection agency and they apologize for that. I told them A LOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS SAME SITUATION and she said nothing. Macy is totally [***] and I'm not purchasing anything from them. Closed account today and they lost me as a customer for annoying me.

I get calls from this place at least 4 times a day everyday!How do I get them to stop calling?They never leave messages!How can we report this?

Caller keeps calling my cell phone without leaving a message. When I called the phone number back (on my work line) they were rude and wouldn't tell me why they were calling my cell phone number without me giving them more information. ( I provided the cell phone number. ) I never pay my bills late and I actually have a credit balance on my Macys credit card.

i work for macys collections department. and that indeed is our phone number pay your bills people and you wont be called.

I have a Macy's account that I pay online,too. I go directly through their website, not checkfree.

I have had the number calling me several times for days as well. I have no Macy's card. I payed one bill online but have canceled it. Maybe that's where they are getting our numbers. Where do we report this? What can we do about it?
