LAST SUMMER MY WIFE GOT A NOTICE THAT HERE MACY ACCOUNT MISSED A 150.00 PAYMENT. THE BILL WAS PAID ONLINE WITH OUR BANK AND DEDUCTED FROM THE ACCOUNT. MACY'S KEPT SENDING NOTICES IN THE MAIL THAT WE OWED THE MONEY AND LATE FEES. WENT TO THE BANK AND YES THE MONEY WAS SENT AND THE CHECKCASHED. I CALLED THE NUMBER ON THE CREDIT CARD AND TOLD THEM OF THE ERROR.' THEY WOULD NOT BELIEVE ME AND I ASKED THE WOMAN ON THE LINE IF SHEWAS CALLING ME A LIAR. SHE SAID IT TAKES ALL KINDS AND HERES STORIES LIKE OURS ALL THE TIME. AFTER USING A BIT OF PROFANITY WHICH SHE TOOK PERSONALLY ( YES ) I FINALLY GOT A SUPERVISOR. THIS WOMAN TOLD ME ABOUT THE TWO CARDS IN ONE. MACY AND VISA. SHE SAID THE AMOUNT WAS CREDITED TOTHE VISA AND NOT THE MACY BALANCE. I TOLD HERE THAT IT CAN'T NOT BE LEGAL TO SET UP TWO SEPARATE ACCOUNTS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. SHE ACTUALLY TOLD ME IT WAS FOR MY PROTECTION. WHAT A LAUGH. AFTER THREE MONTHS OF ME DAILY CALLING AND HARASSING THE SAME TWO WOMEN MY WIFES ACCOUNT WAS CREDITED.THE CARD IS NOW IN A LANDFILL AFTER WE SHREDDED IT. I GOT THE CALL TODAY.DID A NUMBER LOOK UP AND HERE WE ARE. CAN'T WAIT TO GET A BILL FROM THEM.EVERYONE SHOULD PICK THE SAME TIME OF DAY AND SEND EMAIL AND PHONE CALLSTO MACY'S AND CRASH THIER SYSTEM. Wow Macys failed to send statement in December and I was one payment behind, and so because I owed five dollars I recieved well over 50 calls from India because they are contracted to run the credit for Macy's.......maybe this is how they roll in India - mean 50 calls for five bucks, seriously??? What ever happened to sending a bill in the mail??? On top of everything the were going to charge $ 29 late fee ...... Really ??? Paid off my card and cut it up.... Never will shop a macys and going to tell anyone who will listen - my Macys horror story

Everyone on here claiming this is a scam, I can assure you, it's not. I live in Mason, OH, right around the corner from this Macy's Credit Division building. My phone number is a 513-754-xxxx number as well. I drive by this building everyday. It is a nice campus building with a larges sign out front identifying it as Macy's Credit Services. So any calls from this number are legit, so either you, or whoever had your phone number before you owes Macy's some money. ;-)

They called me but did not leave a message - there was a hang up. They called a new mobile phone I just got that is under a family plan - so the listing is not in my name but another family member who opened the family plan a few years ago. I have not had a Macy's account in 20 years and it was paid off way back then. No one on the family plan has a Macy's account either. Must be a scam. Id on phone said the call was from Ohio and the number was 1-513-754-9822.

OK, THIS IS A REAL NUMBER FROM MACYS. I WENT TO THE OFFICIAL MACYS WEBSITE, CALL THEIR SUPPORT NUMBER AT 1-800-BUY-MACY (1-800-289-6229). ONCE ON THE LINE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE THEY "CONFIRMED" THAT 1-513-754-9822 IS IN FACT THEIR COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT PHONE NUMBER.THIS IS SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE, I DONT HAVE A MACYS CARD I DON'T SHOP THERE. MACY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS EVER. LET THEM GO BROKE AND CLOSE SHOP.CALL THEIR 1800 NUMBER , CONFRONT THEM, AND TELL THEM TAKE YOU OFF THEIR LIST OR YOU WILL TAKE ACTION ON THIS HARRASSMENT.

To "in_ohio" - You must be thinking about some other Macy's Credit Division because the area this number is associated with is all residential.

It is Macy's. They keep calling and wanting to talk to my daughter. Her Macy's account was paid off, but because of the date of the billing cycle, the payment was made about the same time the late fee was being assessed. So...she now owes $5.45 and the calls come at ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT. My daughter has been in Africa on a missions trip for the past month and my telling them has NOT stopped the calls. They left an 800 # for her leaving the message that it was a "business opportunity". After the hundredth call from the 513#, I called the 800# and learned that yes, this is Macy's. 9:45 at night!!!!???? I will NEVER get a Macy's card!!

I received a call from this number this morning. When I answered it, I heard, "This is an important call, please hold on the line, our representatives are currently busy..." I hung up. But then, I did some research on the number and found this web page. I have had a Macy's account for one month, and seeing all the comments here, I called the number on the back of my card to make sure that my account is up to date. Turns out, it's not. I didn't receive the last bill by mail and my last payment didn't go through, so they said that my account was delinquent. I also found out that I have two accounts in one - one is revolving and the other is for major purchases. My first bill only showed the revolving. The representative said that the second bill (which I didn't receive) also shows the major purchases account, and that they are one account. However, when I paid the bill, I received 2 different confirmation numbers - how is it one account then? This is so confusing!The rep removed the late fee and is resending my bill. The rep was accommodating and tried to be helpful, but there were some communication barriers in that I had to keep repeating my account number because he said my voice was breaking up. If you receive a call from this number and you feel uncertain about the legitimacy of the caller but think there may be some issues with your credit card - you could hang up and call your Macy's card phone number to check. Doing it that way gave me some peace of mind as I was repeating my account number, and confirming my info. Never give out your full social security number!

Just started getting calls from this number two days ago, googled it, came upon this site, I decided to check my account, since i just made a payment, my account is in good standing and I have no payment due until next month!

I received this telephone call 08-13-09 at 6:48 p.m. and I do not have a Macy's Credit Card Account. They left no messge.
