These people started calling me last week. I don't even have a Macy's account. I haven't answered my phone yet but if they ask for me I know what to say! I think it's a scam too!

Us too, husband receives calls daily. It's an oversea's call center with 'americanized names" reported to be hsc or hcl technolgies doing services for macy's. ask that you be removed (24hrs) or you will report to attonery generals and the fcc for call harassment.

Caller stated they had a very imporant message... same thing everyone else is reporting. I am calling Macy's to report this as well. I have put a block on this number. Thank you everyone for the heads up.

They've called 22 over 6 days. Never had a Macy's card.

They are still calling. I did not pick up.They left 30 seconds of elevator music on my voicemail.I do not have a Macy's card.

Hi,I understand your frustration. I have been getting calls like that including this number and other numbers.I decided to join the Do Not Call Registry at www.ftc.gov, here you can sign up and they do not ask for your credit card num, like in other sites.They have other interesting subjects you might want to take advantage of, that protect the citizens. Stay with it and if they keep calling, you can go to this website and make a complaint. I am keeping a log of date,time and number. The more complaints they get, will get them interested enough to begin to investigate. I have a block on my phone, and i have blocked all of them.

We receive these calls as often as three times a day, as early as 8:05PDT and as late as 6 or 7 in the evening. My wife has a Macy's account but she either pays by mail or takes a check into a store. An adult daughter who still lists our phone as a "home" number does pay her account on line. We've stopped picking up the phone when we see this number on the caller ID. Yes, they are extremely annoying!! And this home number is on the U.S. DO NOT CALL List.

They call everyday beginning at 8:15 A.M. The person that they are asking for is not and has not been a resident of thiis household for 15 years. Go figure.

Our scenario - They called and asked for a payment which was paid on time. Followed up with Macy's customer service and found that our paymant was applied to a second account we had with no balance (curious). Asked for the payment to be transfered from one account to the other - just happened to be the exact amount. We have also asked Macy's to cancel our account(s) and will no shop there due to the "hateful" collection department.

We have been receiving calls for some time, and haven't answered-- until today. No one was there when I answered. What does it take to get these people off our phone\backs? We do have a Macy's account and pay on time, but maybe we shouldn't. Whare are my scissors?
