I receive calls seven days a week, morning through night. It is Macy's. When I pick up the call, they hang up. I called the number back and they were extremely rude. I rarely shop at Macy's and my account balance is zero. I am shocked that the Corporate Offices allow and encourage their employees to harrass people in such a manner. It is awful and I will NEVER step foot in a Macy's store again. It is not like we have nowhere else to shop!!!

I have now received over 50 calls from this company on my cell. I at least have them on no ring! Today I called Macy's customer service and let them know I am tearing up my card and won't be returning to their store. They had credited the wrong account with my payment and admitted they do turn late payments over to a call center!!!

called and did not leave a message, the caller id says "Mason". The area code and prefix is for Mason, Ohio.

I get called at 5 times a day, I don't own anyone money, how can i stop them calling me!!!!

Calls received 2-3-4-5-6-more times a day. Finally had it. Called back and found out that it was credit services for account with Macy's or Bloomingdales. Haven't had an active Macy's account for years and NEVER had one for Bloomingdales. Told the operator that if they continue to call me, I will contact the Better Business Bureau.

I too was getting very annoying calls with no message left from this number. After reading the posts above it gave me cause to investigate the Macy's connection a bit more as I too have their accounts. Here is the deal. There are indeed two Macy's accounts (Well, potentially three, but I'll talk about that in a bit). When you open the account in the store, you can either get just the Macy's card (Which my wife did/has) and/or you can also get a "Joint Card" that functions as a Macy's instore account when you use it at their stores, but it also has a Visa logo on it (The regular store only cards do NOT have the logo) which will function as a regular Visa card if you choose to use it as a regular credit card anywhere else. Both cards function seperatley and are mutually exclusive with different percent interest rates etc. You can indeed pay both on line on the Macy's site but if you carry balances on both, you have to enter the payments relative to those balances in two seperate areas. They are labelled as such and show the minimum amounts due in the two seperate areas. Now, for the third type and where I got in trouble the first month. Their fine jewelry is sold under a "Club" headind as it's apparently out sourced. This is also a seperate line item under the Macy's store card section. I indeed had bought my wife a ring so I had a "Third" balance.....when I made two payments, I thought I paid the Macy's and the Visa.....but the acctual "Visa' payment was for the ring and hence I was square on Macy's but late on the Visa....I called to find out and after they explained the deal, they took off the late fee and now I know moving forward.

PAY YOUR MACY'S BILL! They call pretty quick after a missed payment (its a courtesy call not a collection agency) and called my cell number b/c I don't have a land line. I received numerous calls (no msg ever left and just hang up when I answered, which is annoying) before I looked up the number and saw all the Macy's comments associated to the number, then checked my Macy's account which I don't use that often and sure enough I forgot to pay my bill. I don't use the checkfree but I don't think it matters because this is about if you have missed your MACY's payment. It isn't a matter of how you pay online. Go check your bill.
