I used to get these people calling from a BMW Corp. Now the area code is the same, but the number is different. Who the hell are these people now?
Gotten this call 5 times in the past 24 hours. When I answer it's silence - I hang up - but the last time I stayed on for a few seconds and of course it's a recording. I hung up before I found out what it was for.
Believe its just a follow-up call to recent BMW service. Simply answer the call and either answer the questions or say no thank you.
I believe this is one of the numbers that BMW will call you from to see if you were satisfied with the service the dealership provided. I own a BMW and usually within a couple of weeks of having service on my car, I get a follow-up call to see if I was happy. It is a star rating system from 1-5, 5 is the only answer that is considered acceptable at the dealership. 4 or less stars means that they did not provide good service.
I keep getting the calls as well, twice daily. I had service done on my BMW 2 weeks ago. I have done their phone surveys before, but doubt that it helps. My dealership is horribly disorganized and has yet to really fix my car.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
