This is a call survey service company for BMW. They place the follow up calls to see if we liked our service. I cannot stand the numerous calls and no voice message!!! I asked them WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYY!!!!! and they said the call us with an automatic dialer that detects answering machines or voice mail and hangs up rather than transferring the call to a representative. I also asked them to remove my name. When you have your car serviced, do not check the box that asks if they can follow up with a call, that is the "opt in" for this survey.

BMW HAS TO RUN A BUSINESS, IF YOU OWNED BMW, WOULDN'T YOU WANT FEEDBACK ON YOUR PRODUCT. IF YOU DON'T RESPOND, HOW WILL BMW KNOW IF THEY HAVE GOOD QUALITY. YOU DON'T JUST WALK IN THERE WITH YOUR POMPUS ATTITUDES, SHOWING OFF YOU BMW, AND IN A ANOTHER VOICE BAD MOUTH THERE SERVICE. IF YOU WORKED FOR BMW LIKE I DO, YOU'LL FIND THAT THEY ARE VERY ANAL. THEY REALLY WANT TO BUILD "THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE", SO THEY HAVE TO HIRE A THIRD PARTY TO DO THE RESEARCH. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT ALWAYS KEEPING THE CUSTOMER HAPPY. WHAT THE MOST FUNNY ABOUT THESE ANGRY CONSUMERS IS THAT EVEN IF YOU DECIDED NOT TO BUY A BMW, THE THIRD PARTY AGENCY HIRED BY BMW IS ALSO HIRED BY AUDI,FERRARI,BENTLEY,MAZDA,HONDA,MINI,AND VARIOUS BANKS,AND EVEN FITNESS COMPANIES. SO FACE IT, FEEDBACK IS VITAL IN BUSINESS. IF ALL BMW HAD TO DO IS JUST TAKE YOU MONEY, YOU WOULDN'T BUY THE VEHICLE, BECAUSE THE COMPANY WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO MAKE IT BETTER. JUST GIVE THEM ALL FIVES, THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY AND THE SURVEY IS OVER IN SECONDS. AND FOR YOU BUSINESS PEOPLE, DON'T LEAVE YOUR WORK PHONE NUMBER WHEN YOU PURCHASE OR SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE.

This number has been calling my cell phone all week, and I have been ignoring it. Curiosity got the better of me and I finally decided to call back. It was some BMW-affiliated group; I asked why they had been calling, and he told me it was to take a survey for a recent service on my BMW. I told him I had already taken a survey (which is true, immediately after I had the car towed I received a brief survey via telephone about the tower's timeliness, etc.), at which point he apologized and asked for my number so it could be removed from the call list.

Thanks for all the info you guys have posted. Now I feel more comfortable answering the phone the next time they call and taking the stupid survey so they can leave me alone. Has BMW heard of email?

It won't do any good to report them. You say that your number is in the do not call registry that does not matter because they are doing nothing wrong. They are not trying to sell you anything so it is perfectly legal to call you. What you think you are so great because you own a BMW. People who own a BMW think they own the damn road.
