I work at that company, at the phone number in question, and if you don't want us calling or don't have time to take the survey just say all fives and we won't call you until the next service visit. If you never want to be called again just say to restrict your number or verify your number as being wrong. we won't call you again. I hate my job and Im sorry for all the calls. I wouldn't want me to call me either.
Got a call with no message left on my cell phone. It is rare that I get an unsolicited call on my cell phone.
I just answered the call and it was BMW. When you buy a BMW, you commit to life with THE CAR. THE CAR is supposed to be so important to your life that a trip to the "Doctor" (service) warrants a follow up rating call. Actually, THE CAR is more important than your kids because the chance of the Doctor calling you about a sick child is much less than BMW's incessant and irritating calls all because you went in to have a light bulb replaced in THE CAR. I have told them to stop. They haven't. This is all part of our self-centered society in which people and/or businesses think they are so important to you and that you concur with that assessment.
I have gotten a call from this # at least 10 times in the last few days. When I answer, there is no one there. After googling the number & seeing this site, I called them- it is BMW headquarters. I told the man on the phone about all of my calls, the fact that a site like this exists & that I really wished they would change their ridiculous follow-up call program. He asked for my #, verified my name (which he knew f/ their database), told me that I would not be called anymore and HUNG UP! Absolutely ridiculous service....we'll see if the calls stop.
I too have been receiving these calls - once a day and usually around the same time of day (2:00 p.m.). When I answer, no one's there. One time, the telemonsterer didn't realize my V.M. had picked up and I heard her conversation with a co-worker about their lunch. And, yes, this makes sense b/c I had my BMW in for service, and used road side assistance, only about 2 weeks ago.
So, i recently took my 745 in for service and have been getting these constant calls from an area code 541 number. I just called it back tonight and asked to speak with a supervisor. So here's the deal - their answering system will only pick up 6 seconds after you answer. It won;t pick up before (for some stupid reason). So they keep calling us; we keep answering, saying "helllo. hello" a few times and then hang up.BMW pisses me off. I had an "all 5's" maintenance experience but it was ruined by what has been at least 20 pestering phone calls with no one on the other end. The supervisor supposedly removed my number from their database but I'm sure it'll find it's way in there again after my next maintenance visit. Good luck.
This number is for the a BMW survey (YES it is BMW), it is a follow-up to a RECENT service call or RECENT purchase. Are all you people IDIOTS? You have a business relationship with BMW (you took your car in for service, or you just bought a car, RIGHT????), which means THEY ARE ALLOWED TO CALL YOU. They are NOT bound by the Do Not Call laws. Don't believe me, look it up. They have your number BECAUSE YOU GAVE IT TO THEM!!!!STOP WHINING, answer the phone and tell them to stop calling and they will. I have a BMW and I did, it is THAT SIMPLY!!! The no longer call me after I get my car serviced.Or if you don't like that don't buy anything from BMW or use one of thier dealers for service.Bunch of crybabies.
I still get these calls even after telling the dealer and online support that I never wanted to be put on this list ever again. They never leave a voice mail, call day and at night when I'm asleep. I can't even call them back. This is my personal cell phone. So here we go again, thanks BMW.
