Getting calls from 717-720-1500 on a cell phone. Caller said they are from PHEAA, however theyare Phishing for information that they should know. When questioned about the validity of the call, they refer you to your statement or PHEAA's website... Continuous calls with No messages left. Sounds like an auto dialer is used and when you answer the person starts to phish for information.....
Wow.....this mentality explains a lot, not to mention the grammar. I guess they will hire anyone to do their dirty work. This company is the absolute worst to deal with. They have no mercy on anyone!
"...They do NOT back take off credit report if it is happened..." ?????????????????????And you're asking if others are stupid? Get a clue! The truth is if you weren't so stupid you'd have a decent job.
I get numerous calls from this phone number...apparently from aes...calls never stop, even when payment has been made on time. I have had more problems with this company than ANY other company I have EVER had to deal with. They HARASS me, and 'lose' my payments. I have had to provide payment confirmation numbers and cleared check copies from my bank more times than I haven't, or at least, so it seams (at least 10-15+ times over the 5 years of the loan so far). don't trust anything their customer service reps say over the phone without second and third person confirmation, and keep records of EVERYTHING, and EVERYONE you speak with. absolutely horrible!!
It is a very frustrating dealing with this company. I find their reps not helpful and rude. I find the whole industry frustrating. They take advantage of a vulnerable group. I am glad the gov't is taking over new loans.
I keep getting calls everyday 3 times a day. and even late at night. ridiculous. They dont leave a voice message. I know payments are being paid.
I got a call like this today from this number as well....didn't answer it...but it said P.H.E.A.A on caller I.D. Does anyone know what that stands for?
Are you people stupid? I don't understand why you take out loans, and do not read terms and conditions of the loan. AES is a servicer, they service the loans for the bank. To break it down, it means they handle the dirty work that you, your son, or your wife had taken out with the bank. They do not make there own rules. Deferements and Forbearances are a luxury of the loan. Depending on what type of a school loan you had taken out in the past they don't offer anything to stop payments. If you cannot afford your payment, now days because of the economy sucking banks have taken away options. They do not care about your sob story life of why you dropped out or they major you went to school for is not paying much. They lent out the money now they want it back. You have to realize, if you are in school, you need to keep track of how your school is reporting you if your are half time or full time, because once they report you have withdrawn or left school for another. You are responsible to let any servicer know if you are still attending school if not, you auto hit your grace period. Once that grace period expires you do not get it back! So, which that means you go back to school a year later, and you enter back into repayment and wonder where your grace period went to, thats why. As for us billing you, you are fully responsible for that bill until that deferement or forbearance is granted. It is listed in there that forbearances and deferemnts terms..They do NOT back take off credit report if it is happened. Its a valid credit reporting, and will not be taken off. You received the bill, you knew your account was delq. It is your fault. If you move to another state, you are responsible to make sure your servicers have your correct address and phone number. If you have no idea who has your loans, it is YOUR responsbility to contact the school to find out who is carrying your loans or the bank. So get over you bitchy, pitful lives, learn before you sign and take out 100,000 dollar loan. READ and UNDERSTAND what you are taking out before you get greedy about getting money... Because no one cares about your pitty party life story.. PS MOST LOANS are up to 20-30 yrs, depending on the loan type once again, so you accrue interest, depending on the type it could be a variable or fixed, that loan accrues interest while being under and def or forbearance, so when it ends that interest is capped, and added to princ bal. These loan terms are stretched within the term period, so thats why your princ bal is higher then when you first take it out.
