Multiple calls per day, threatening my elderly mother about a loan that my niece took out and is 10 days late on her last payment on.Complaint filed with FTC for violations of fair credit act and we'll be speaking with a Lawyer and filing a LAWSUIT against this company.
I just received a call from this number, but when I answered they hang up. What is going on. Is this a legit company???
I truly hope you are just a call center employee who took it upon themselves to post this. If you are the PR for the company in this matter, they should really think about a replacement. This is a terribly unprofessional response. I have screen captured it and will be sending it to your company. I am sure they would like to know how people are representing the company.
This number calls me repeatedly between 10 PM and 11 PM, and does not leave a voicemail. I'm sorry, but those are not considered normal business hours and do not see the need for them to blow my phone up in the middle of the night. If you don't leave a message and I don't recognize the number, I will NOT call you back. Especially after seeing all these posts and seeing how horrible of a company they are to deal with. Ain't nobody got time for that!
This number showed up on my granddaughter's phone, and she is only 13 years old. Good Grief!
They just called me, they wanted to update my information-- weird how my address hasn't changed in 30 yrs and they still want to make sure I'm getting my mail- has anything been sent back? They have to be the most unknowledgable people to deal with. I hate, HATE having to deal with them! She asked to update my phone number and I told her the one she called was good- she didn't know that number, I wouldn't give it to her. She wanted me to varify my DOB, I wouldn't give it to her. I asked her to pull up my accounts to make sure they were current (because they are -- and to make my point to stop calling me) she said she can't access my accounts. She then asked if I would give them permission to leave automated messages on my phone- I told her no, that I would like a representative to call me if there was a problem- and she said that don't do that. It was alllll circles like normal with those people!
I think to respond to people the way you did is rude and obnoxious. You pretty much made a generalization that everyone in this forum do not make payments to their accounts and are all delinquence in their AES loans. Many of the people in this forum seem to be keeping up with their loans. Maybe AES needs to keep up with their own policy unless their policy is to mismanage accounts and harass people.I do have an AES loan which I have a co-signer for. My co-signer JUST informed me that AES called her asking her to pay for the delinquent account and was told that AES has been trying to get a hold of me. First of all, I have received emails from AES but none of which informed me of any delinquency because my account is, in fact, current. Secondly, I made a payment and even have the email receipt to prove I did. Third, I checked my account and EVERYTHING (mailing address, email, and phone number) that was there was all current. So I don't know what you are saying when you mentioned "consequences" and "missing important information". Apparently everything is up to date yet AES tells my co-signer that they have been trying to get a hold of me? Oh and what a coincidence, as soon as I made the payment today to my account which wasn't in delinquency, that is when I get a phone call from this stupid 717 number - no voicemail no nothing. No AES - that is not what it means by "trying to get a hold of".Ridiculous to the nth degree. If they mismanage my account any more than they already did in the past, I'm definitely taking legal action.
