these people have done something to my cell phone. I started getting calls from numbers like +91789 and 917-89 last month. i answered once and it was some guy with a bad accent going " hello? hello? this is james". then my mom said when i called her 2 weeks ago it was a blocked number on her caller id. then today her caller id said it was it was from denver and this number. they have i guess they have jacked my system. anyone have an idea what to do.
some guy called me from this number and started asking me a bunch of questions, of when I graduated, if I was in the military, and when asked if I was a U.S. citizen I answered no and he hung up like wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Solve this problem with a SILENT ring tone.To do this use the record option on your phone. Record SILENCE for 1 second. Save the phone number that you want and assign the name "Do not answer". Assign the silent ring tone to this number.After that when they call you will not be bothered because you will not hear a ring as it is silent. The only way you know they called is when you look at your phone and see that you missed a call. When you see the missed call was from "Do not answer" you can just laugh.Does not block the call but otherwise solves the problem.
We got the call for many times today..no one talks when we answer,...seems like a fake call...
I screen my calls, so when the answering machine came on the party did not leave a message. Glad I looked this number up,I can advise my elderly mother to WACTH OUT!
Got 3 calls yesterday. Didn't answer any of them. These calls are annoying and disruptive. I'm on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY (what a waste of time) obviously does not work. If these calls are political, I guess this is what we get for being registered voters. Yet another waste of time.
"Colorado" called my number last week. They are now blocked. From all above comments regarding their dirty deeds, I believe they will be in jail before the year is out, or something much worse. Very sad and pathetic people
Yea, I just got a call from these people at 9:00 PM. not just once but twice. Nobody on the other end of the phone. I am sick a tried of these type of people calling me.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
