I missed a call and no message was left by the caller

Caller left vms about someone that doesn't live at this address and left a case number

I just had the same thing last night (7-25-2007) and then when I mentioned the case number, the rude guy on the phone asked me to call back in 10 minutes or else they'd issue a summons and hung up! Furthermore, I heard another man in the background call someone "baby". Very rude, and as a law abiding citizen, I am not sure what that was all. I can tell you that the phone records from other sites point this to Adairsville, GA and this is a cell phone number, from what I read. It also connected me to some asset site which I have no idea is.

I forgot to mention that I got something like "Americana business" or something like that out of him, but they weren't very clear, and would not give out the who's or what's that they allegedly are.

I received a strange call from this place trying to collect on a credit card bill that is 20 years old. They would not give me their address so I could send them a cease letter.

Ever hear of Shannon Lee anyone? This is the lady that called twice, but only calls in the mid-morning hours. This is the same place, just like the rest of this.

I got a vmail from this number too. Gave the name of Susan Banks and a civil suit case number? I live in Colorado. My understanding of civil suits is that they have to be filed in the county where repondant lives. Heck, GA isnt even the right state. I'm not sure where they are getting this info, but sounds like a phishing expedition for a scam. Get a little info, use it to gain more info then clean them out. I sent an email to the local radio news station to see if they want to investigate. Will keep you posted.

My thoughts exactly. It amazes me the extent fraud and intimidation tactics are played on us innocent ones. Truly amazing, and frustrating all at once. It is a good thing I found this site, and others have too. At least we know where to look for help!

I also got a call on July 24th from a company calling themselves Claims America in Stone Mountain, Ga. I live in Florida. They where very threatening. I got important help from a friend of mine who is a lawyer. I also contacted my bank which in turn contacted the 3 big Credit Card Agencies with this no. & name. I told bank security they need to contact the FBI on this scam company.
