Just received a call from supposed Microsoft tech alerting me to my computer being hacked and that he needed access to my computer to fix the problem. Mentioning the do not call list meant absolutely nothing to him and he continued to persist. In his heavy Indian accent he told me his name is Robin Smith and the company is Global IT. Call back number is 1-800-102-1100. His caller ID showed 760-660-3093. Neither number works when called back, surprise surprise.
LOL Anybody that would pick up a caller ID number like this you have to wonder about. An obvious scammer calling from a third world telemarketing boiler room. Don't pick up, not worth the time and effort.
I was called by the number 1-800-102-1100 and the guy that I spoke with inquired about my windows software on my computer saying that he wants to help me fix the problem to to hacking and I said I’m sorry could you please remove my number from your calling list and he said in your dreams and then I asked him again I said what did you say and he said in your dreams and hung up that was really creepy.
Received two calls from this number. Sent the first to voicemail and they did not leave a message, just dead air for a few seconds. Following day received another call, decided to answer, dead air on the line for about 6 seconds then disconnected. Seeing everything here, assume a scan.
I just got the same call. I started laughing in the phone. He said why are you laughing. I said because you are full of [***]. Get off my phone.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
