Same number, same person called today claiming to be from Norton security... claimed my computer was indicating 24/7 activity... but she could not tell me which computer nor the computer name and I asked for her client service ID... she hung up. Total scamm, Norton doe snot call customers directly, don't be scammed!
Man with a heavy foreign accent said he was from Microsoft Technical Support Customer Service and that he wanted to refund $300 to me for something that occurred late last year (hard to understand him due to accent). I said I thought it was a scam. He switched me over to someone else who also had a heavy foreign accent and repeated the above. I said I would check it out and did not give him any information. He said I could check it out by calling 1-800-102-1100. I then hung up and checked it out on the Internet -- it looks like a scam.
Wow - first call logged on this number in July 2013... of course, no ID, no message. I don't answer the phone unless I know who's calling, and I don't know of a single company that would call using an 800 number - such numbers are for us to use to call them at no charge... A couple of years ago I "played along" with one of these bozos for about 20 minutes until I got him good and frustrated, then told him I was a computer pro with over 45 years of experience (I truly did start programming in 1967). Didn't learn any new words from him, but I did learn that he did know such words. Thick accent too. You'd figure sooner or later they'd get caught and put away for a long time.
Got a call from this number saying they were from Geek Squad..thats as far as it went as it was a foreigners voice and hung up after a few choice words

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
