Got a call from this 800 # that the Mexicans were using my computer and he wanted to walk me thru what to do to stop it. I kept asking him where he was. He said he was Microsoft Tech Support. I told him not to call again and hung up.

June 23/14. I got the same. Call today saying my computer had been hacked from Mexico. I asked for a .number where my husband could call them back and they gave me this 1-800. Number. When I tried to call back it was an invalid number.

Exact same story. Told them nothing and hung up to investigate the matter further. Glad this forum is here to verify my suspicions!

Well today is Labor Day 2014 but the bad guys are not taking the day off from work. Got a call same as described above , heavy Indian accent , gave me this 800 number to call back. Did not give them any information.

Well here we go again. 21:00 hours and some guy with a thick Indian accent called to say that my computer is sending spam and he wants access to help fix it. Number he gave me: 1-800-102-1100. He directed me to a website www.microsoftore,com He also gave me a CSID # which I am not going to put here. The call came from anywhere VOIP very broken. Don't give this guy anything.

Had the same experience -- only my laptop had died months earlier and I never replaced it. I told the caller thathis call was strange as I didn't even have a computer (the truth), but this didn't deter him, or he didn't know what to do with that information, and he continued to insist that my computer was sending these messages. Even if I had had a computer, it was very obviously a scam. I believe that very few people would fall for this kind of trick these days; I just looked it up online (this site) for amusement.

My call came from 516-453-6880. Told them it was a scam and what's your call back number and they gave me this 800 number. Indian woman.

I got a call from the same number. Hard to understand the guy. He said he was from Microsoft anti hacking department in New York. I carried on the conversation with him the best I could, as I only caught about every other word. I finally told him very firmly that I was NOT even turning ON my computer for him & I would contact my own technician to resolve the "hack" that was on my computer. These calls are so irritating.

I am so grateful for the internet community on this. I too have been getting cold calls from this company and finally just went off on them for trying to spy on a government computer. I could barely understand what they were saying in the first place but I knew it was fake. I hope no one falls for this. The first time they called they said it was "MS Technical Support" and the last time they called they said it was "PC Help in Brooklyn, NY" Of course its no coincidence that I had to change my cc recently because of fraud activity in Brooklyn, NY. I never gave them any info but I know they are using spyware on computers...be careful!
