Great Lakes is a Student Loan Servicing company. Everything is tracked by Social Security #
They called to remind me that my grace period for my loans was ending, which was true. I'm glad for the reminder. I called the number back to get more info on this and it was definitely legit. The guy I talked to told me that he wouldn't accept my payment information for the student loans and told me to check my email. Received an official email from Great Lakes that forwarded me to their website where I was able to login to my account.If you're upset with this caller, it's because 1) You don't have an acct with them (in the which case I'd be concerned about who gave out your info for their student loans) or 2) you don't want to pay back your student loans. (granted, neither do I!)
It's not a blocked caller of you have a phone number listed? They're legit, it's great lakes borrowing services company which, for me, was related to my student loans.
I'm a high school student and they have called me several times telling me that there is a problem with my student loans for my university. Seeing as how I'm not enrolled in a university or have taken out student loans, this number is a scam. It's terrible how they prey on people worried about money.
i don't have student loans. Only one person knows my cell number on the phone they called.. It is spam. no message left. they called twice.

Caller wanted personal information and claimed to be from some credit company that does not exist.

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
