Left no message called back and is Comcast got it call because i did survey and was not a good one they never leave message

I've been receiving nonstop Constance calls, from 1-800-266-2278, 3-5X a day, even late evening. I answer but nobody on the line then just hangs up. I would appreciate if this would stop. Disconnect this non wrong 800 line, Ur annoying..Thank U!! I need another place to report too, so I can get these calls stop, any info how or who? Thank U

Yes, this is the Comcast number, but beware spoofing! I got a call yesterday (I answered, they hung up) and one today. This time when I answered, I was prepared to tell them I don't have, nor do I want, Comcast service. Instead, someone with a thick accents says he's calling me from the Windows department about my computer. 100% scam! I responded, "Then why does your number come up as Comcast"? He abruptly hung up. I don't expect they'll call back. If they do, I'll answer and hand the phone to my youngest child, That's always fun! :D

Yes CID said COMCAST. Didn't answer. I always check this site first. Most importantly, I DON'T EVEN HAVE COMCAST, NOT A CUSTOMER, NEVER HAVE BEEN. Sounded shady to me. I once answered a call from a legitimate business on my caller ID. Turned out to be a recording telling me they wanted to send me a life alert bracelet! The business had noting to do with it! The Holiday season is almost here. These scumbags are looking to try and get an early present.

Comcast calling to get my account number of my phone service to transfer phone numbers, name attached is what i thought they said as a name.

Have gotten calls leaves no message.

This is from Comcast. They call any time between 08:00 AM to 9:00 PM; sometimes more than once a day and to every number they have for me (cell and landline). They DON'T leave a message so you don't know who the well they are! I finally answered tonight. Gave the person a piece of my mind and I wasn't pleasant! I asked what it was about; she said my bill. I said I will pay in 2 days--just like I do every month! My contract with these dipsticks ends in June and I will REALLY tell them what I think of them at that time!

They called my cell which has no caller ID. They leave no message.I googled the number and the number is registered to Comcast. I haven't dealt with their company for nearly a decade. In that time I think they called once (shortly after I canceled).I believe in my case this is a scammer spoofing a Comcast number to appear legitimate. Some others have reported legitimate calls from Comcast. With a spoofed number there is no way (for Joe Average) to tell if it is the legitimate owner of the number or a scammer spoofing the number.Based on other posts here and my recent phone experience, I suspect the Microsoft Windows Scam.

Scam some how this company is simulating the Comcast number. They left VM claiming to be Comcast and said they would call back. Comcast isn’t even available in my area. I have never been one of their customers.
