Comcast recorded message about the oncoming storm and to be prepared for possible outages and not to touch any downed lines.

I just got a message from Comcast in Philadelphia, PA, about the storm Sandy, and how to reach them to find out outage info. My aunt got same message, too.

let call roll to voice mail and checked voice mail and its was to give me advice for hurricane Sandy. Don't touch any downed wires and check outages on your mobile. Huge snow storm and real weather problem over the years and can't get them to answer the phone, threat of a storm and they have robo call for alerts. How bout you just fix stuff and dont call me to tell me don't touch downed wires. Darwin can take care of those who are dumb enough to play in a storm.

This IS one of several numbers used by Comcast. It comes up as "Unavailable" on my Caller Id, which is typical of these and all the other idiots, thieves, cretins, frauds, politicos, used car salesmen, Godless devils, etc. Further, they do not even have the human being courtesy to leave a message and ask to please call them back. My view is if it is a legitimate business, they should be proud of who they are and have their company Id appear, not hide it,.and leave a message. However, since it is Comcast, which continually demonstrates its contempt for customers, I suppose we have to expect this type of corporate behavior. from a company which clearly does not care about conveying an image of a total lack of integrity, dishonesty, lying to customers, fraudulently charging for products it si not delivering, etc. In my household, we do not answer calls where the Id does not appear. It is particularly to get these "Unavailable" calls on Sundays. It figures that these Godless animals would not be in church.

Comcast calling about potential issues due to hurricane Sandy.

Its legit Comcast. They left a message telling me to stay away from wires etc. during hurricane Sandy. And where to call for an emergency. I'm in MA so this storm may impact use here. I am ok with this type of call.

Received a call from this number again this morning. And as usual, they hang up without leaving a message when the machine kicks in.

got a call this morning-no one there-I don't owe comcast anything-don't have pending service-haven't requested new or change of service. Can only say there is a hurricane in the area and maybe they are calling with a customer service recording that disconnected. Can't be bothered to call the number back because I don't really care
