Started with calls from 713-574-1106. I know no one in a correctional facility. Can't block since the calls are to my cell number. Verizon needs to change that so SCAMMERS can be blocked if the Feds won't stop them.

I just received a call from that number. I don't know anyone in jail or prison. I've recently opened my own business, and that's when the calls started.

It is not a scam. You get a free 1 min. call and at that time you can setup a prepaid account of ,25.00 for future collect calls. Instead of 15.00 a call you are charged 4.00.Its makes a whole lot more since to pay 25.00 for 5 calls than 90.00.

One thing about common sense. It's not so common!!! I use this service because I do have people in jail.

I got same thing.I talked to the fbi and they told me to contact the ftc.

This is NOT a scam. It is someone from jail trying to get ahold of you. I know from personal expeirance. A friend of mine got ahold of me. It is $14 for 15 minutes of talk time or setting crazy like that.
