Once again, this IS Chase bank. If you are receiving calls from this number one of a few things has occurred, either:1. You have a checking or savings account with Chase and it is currently overdrawn.2. Someone who used to have your phone number has a Chase account and is overdrawn.3. Someone with a Chase account reported their phone number as yours. You need to answer or call back and:1. Make arrangements with Chase to take care of the overdraft.2. Explain that the person they are trying to contact is not located at this number.I know this is Chase as on a couple of occasions I have become slightly overdrawn. When calling the number back they only ask for my name, address and last four digits of my SSN, NOT the whole number. I simply tell them I get a direct deposit on a certain date and that takes care of it. I dont hear from them again unless I become overdrawn.
I have been getting these calls and I am far from overdrawn nor do I owe them any money for anything.
No, for real i got that number from Chase customer Service, and possitive it is the collections department, where they try to crucify everyone with their extra charges, charge offs, and all kind of abussive charges against consumers.
Received a call from this number and did not answer it (always wait to check the number online on site such as these to avoid scammers). I did see that Chase had been attached to this number, so I checked my accounts. Sure enough, one account was over-drawn, a stupid mistake by myself as I used the wrong card (a smaller account)one night to pay for an evening out. Thankfully they did call and got my attention, though I never did answer it in the first place.
I had been receiving phone calls from this # for many month now. I finally called the company and the operator I spoke to said that they were looking for some Mr. Lopez. Well, considering that I am a female and the land line is under my name, there is no way in hell I am Mr. Lopez. The operator agreed to remove my # from their automated list, however, he refused to apologize for the constant harassment I had been receiving from Chase. The little dweeb had enough audacity to say that he saw nothing wrong with this situation. When I asked to talk to his supervisor, I was put on an endless "hold". I finally hung up, called them again and went through the whole story with another operator. She, however, did apologize at the end. What makes me incredibly angry is the fact that they don't bother to check whether they have the right name to the phone # they dial for debt collections. I consider such behavior grossly negligent.
You have to tell them you considure the calls harasment and if they can affter that you can sue if you can find them which if it's a scam is unlikly.
This can not be for real. If it was they would respect my wishes and quit calling my 13 year old daughters phone. Obviously she has never had her own account with Chase. She is too young.
I have told them 6 times that this is the wrong number and it is my daughters phone and to remove it from there list. Still Waiting
