These clowns must be paid for each phone call they make. They've been told repeatedly the people they're looking for cannot be reached at my phone number. They stop calling for a while then they started up again this week. They've called 3 times today alone.
Same number anytime, several times a day. When a human finally gets on phone, they tell me I owe $48,000. Not possible!! Loan was sold from BAC to SPS. Why?
We recently got a letter that out Bank of America mortgage would be handled by Select Portfolio Processing. Now we get calls from this number at least twice a week. I always answer thinking there is a problem with them receiving our payment electronicly. So far no one has ever picked up the line......please hold for an urgent message.
I get repeated phone calls from this number every few days. I have no business withthem and would like the calls to stop.
They call all day, everyday. I thought harassment was illegal. I answer the phone and they hang up. If my machine answers, they hang up. It's like they don't really want to speak to you, just annoy you. I have turned my answering machine volume off and my landline ringers are off. I keep the landline for home phone contact only. Friends and family get the cell number, so at the end of the day I have five messages and five or six hang ups. They must be paying these people peanuts for this to make sense to anyone. Smart money would be to actually collect whatever debt is owed unless this company has some sort of big scam going.
I am consumer attorney and my law firm has been retained to file a NATIONWIDE CLASS ACTION lawsuit against this SPS for robo-calls to cell phones. These practices violate federal and state law !Contact my office to join the class action: Manning Law, APCEmail: joe@manninglawoffice.com or info@manninglawoffice.com
I also get repeated phone calls from this number every few days.It just started a few days ago. Random times during he week.I never answer since this number has no relation to my address book.801-594-6000
Same thing is happening to me from that same number & it's non stop. They also use different numbers, like 860 823-0138, 860 379-3073,904 722-7050, etc.
I recently had my mortgage transferred to Select Service Portfolio. My payment date is the first of the month, however, late fees do not incur until the 15th of the month and so that is when I pay. Today is the 9th and they have already started calling with 'an important message regarding my account'. Really?? Screw that, I'm shopping for a new mortgage. I hold onto my dollars as long as I can - why let my money work for someone else? They get interest paid on our monies so if we delay payment until the 15th that's less money they've made off my back.
