Just send them a text back telling them to stop and that your filing a complaint with the States Attorney Generals Office. Tell them you will file a Class Action Civil case against them. That ussually gets them to stop.
They claim that there is an option to be removed if you wait for the recording. it's not always the same person who speaks to you and they clone numbers on your caller ID i have blocked about 5 of their numbers and they still call. this is a identiy thieft ring and we need to report them to the FBI not better busniess of FCC
I got a call from the credit card company to lower my interest rate on Christmas Eve. I told them I was on the Do Not Call List and to take my number off of there list. A foreign man kept saying wait listen....listen and I said Take My Number off and than he yelled listen you Mother F.... and I yelled back listen piss of [***] take my number off and I slammed the phone down. I doubt it will stop the calls, but at least I had satisfaction.
I have also received several of these "lower your credit card interest" calls. The first time I spoke to someone and requested they don't call because I have no credit cards. Now, each time they call, when I try to ask them to remove my number, they hang up on me!
got someone live. said nicely "could you take my # from the list please?" HE HANGED UP!!!! I even othered to picked and pressed 1 to be connected!!!
tried to report number but automated menu had no choices to report. then you get put on hold because they are all busy...dead end.
SUCCESS!!! I called that tracphone number again--talked to nice young man who said the only way I could stop the calls was for ME to get a new number!!! He turned VERY cooperative after i told him this was a hospice the scam number 802 230-6357 was calling and since we are a state agency I turned this over to the state attorney generals office and the FCC. Immediately he said he had misunderstood and said he took my number off the list and that I would NEVER get another call. We shall see if it happens! I encourage everyone to call this tracphone and choose the purchase other services prompt because otherwise there is no choice to complain. Total scam! Keep a whistle close and if that number calls again when u can answer, answer with an ear-piercing whistle!

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
