I rec'd a call from this number, asking me to have my credit cards interest rate reduced. I pushed #1. I then ask which credit card and mysteriously the man listed all of my credit card companies. I then asked if I could please have my name put on the Do not call list. (I am polite the entire time). The response I got was, in a shouting voice, "No you cannot!" and click, I was disconnected!

They call me several times a week. Won't take my number off their call list.

802-230-6357 called and claimed they wehre from card services and that they called to lower my rate. When I got a rep they would not answer what bank that they represented. how can yo lower my rate when you don't know what car or bank I use.

Continuous calls

So I've been getting phone calls from these people for years now and since I don't even own a credit card I've always thought it was a scam. Today I looked up CardMember Services online and called the number that was listed on their webpage. They told me it wasn't them calling me. I'm also on the do not call list and it has done nothing to prevent this from happening. I don't think there is anything you can do to stop them, because annoying them will just make them want to call you more. Maybe next time I'll talk to someone but not use English.

I too have received calls from this 802-230-6357 number and have been unable to make any progress at stopping them from continued calls. They say they are "calling about my credit card" and it is my "last chance to lower my interest rate" though I have been getting calls like this for two years. When I get a live person and tell them I do not have a balance over 10,000 they hang up on me! Why can we not stop this scam, intrusion, abuse and theft?

Yep, got that phone call form "Rachel at Carholder Services". I pressed one and blew that whistle as loudly as I could!

Filed a complaint with do-not-call...and the more complaints the merrier. Easy enough to do, go to www.donotcall.gov and click 'file a complaint'.

I have told these scums bags the same thing over and over again: "Quit calling" and yep they hang up. But NOW, when they call, I will answer and wait for them to pick up their line....and they get a nice dose of Whistle in their ear! Each and every time. I do get some joy out of this. They harrass me, the nicest thing I can do for them is to burst their eardrum.
