As I've said on another post, I think they won't identify where they are because our government who is saying they are trying to create jobs, has farmed this work out to India. Are all of your calls from people with accents? Mine are, all sounding like from India. One hung up on me when I asked her if she was from India.

Same here. They keep calling and tell me I'm obligated by law to do this phone survey. I said mail it to me, and they say they can't. They don't have any names, just the phone number.

I never filled out any form so how would they know if any information was missing as you claim from a form that was completed (in my case never submitted)???

2 calls sofar after I mailed back the sensus thing. Wish I had not. First call was on 10-26 @4:52PMthe number 240-420-6029. Second call on 10-27 @5:52PM the number 812 218 3144, both from the alleged census bureau? I have caller ID so, I do not answer, but it is aggrevating. I am also on the do not call list, which dos'nt seem to make any difference. How can they use (whoever it is) a government name to commit a fraud????

Have caller ID and do not answer calls that I do not know. Same number called last month about 15 times, then they stopped. Today, Sunday @ 1:37PM they called again. I am a senior citizen and getting tired of this. Who can we report this to, that will take action? I am also on the DO NOT CALL list, but that does not seem to make a difference.11-13-11

Census Bureau keeps calling my house. They say they need to verify some information they have on me. They have my name but the address they have on file is not correct. I got suspicious and hung up. They called again, and I did not answer. It's the first time they verify anything and do this over the phone. Did anyone else receive these calls?

Check the persons credentials and then give the required information. If the required information is not provided your name will eventually be escalated and end up on "The List". Trust me you DONT want to be on the list. You want to live in this country? Then sit down and follow the directions given. You can do this the easy way or you can do this the hard way. Either way tax dollers will be paying for it.Comprende Amigos?
