i received several calls on my cell phone from this number, they even left a voice mail from the census bureau..i star 67 called them back & their outgoing message was from the census bureau, sounding very official. They called again, this time i picked up. A women on the phone identified herself as being from the census bureau. She aksed me if "i was the lady of the house", then stated that she had a check for me and she wanted to confirm my address, she gave me a totally different address, I said it wasn't mine & then she asked for my address. I of course declined her request and she stated that she would have to remove me from the list for the check. Beware & don't give out any of your info., whose name was on bogus check, because she didn't know mine, and theres no adress listed to that phone # its a pre-paid phone.

I received a call from a woman purporting to be from the Census Bureau. The story goes on similar to the others already reported. After checking with my family members, i was told they had not received anything from the Census Bureau yet. I guess I am reporting this to warn others to be careful about any information you might give over the phone.

This number comes up on called ID as 'Census Bureau' They call about two times each day, usually within 8 minutes of the other. They have called our household from two different numbers each stating they were the 'Census Bureau' I have answered the call once and they are asking that we mail the form they sent us. They will not stop unless you send that stupid form in.

THIS IS A SCAM. If it is a legitimate number then there is someone working at the Census who is soliciting unlawful information. Tell them you will report them to the FTC. That shoudl stop the calls.

I also received such a call on my cell phone from a very persistant lady that claimed she had received my survey report and needed to ask me more questions. I haven't received or filled out a survey so would also like to know who these people are. I didn't give her any information.

My survey did not ask about my bathroom habits. Maybe there are two, one legit, one a fraud.

Just received a call from 812-218-3144 from a mean sounding voice saying he was calling from the US Cenus Bureau. WOW, woop d do! So I blocked it. Just like the calls from last week. The Census bureau are doing tests in CA and TX in prep for the 2020 cenus. I know the Cenus bureau does obtain other info, my girlfiend work for them. SCAM ! The Census bureau will never call you!!
