keeps calling and leaves no message

I have received numerous calls from different numbers and from different states. It is getting irritating.

I also received the census packet in the mail. I chose to fill out the online version instead. In the online version it tells you when you've answered all the questions that were needed and thanks you for taking the time to complete it. Now I'm getting the calls and annoying messages saying to call them back they have more questions they needed answered. They even give me a Case# like I'm in court! Screw that! I answered all the damn questions so if they wanted more... It should've been on the website questionnaire! Stop Calling Me!

Yes,I received the same call but on two different Sundays. These callers have been using different numbers all week and on weekends. It's FRAUD. No one works on a Saturday or Sunday for the U.S. government. I also got a call from 240-420-6029. They're changing up the numbers in hopes to get someone to pick up. File a complaint with the FTC. Do not give out any information. I even asked them to mail me out the information and they refused.

I am 53 years old, and have been through many cesuses before. I have never, ever received a call from them. I know people who take the census, they never heard of them calling before. They didn't call my home line, they called my cell. Just doesn't add up to me. I say it's a scam.

I said to send me a letter and they needed me to tell them where I lived. This is not legit.

It's the US Census department and they operate on Sundays. I filled out a census survey that was sent to me about hunting and fishing. I made the mistake of agreeing to do the survey and they had me on the phone for at least 20 minutes. Total waste of my time. Trying to be helpful but it's complete BS! Just don't fill out surveys from the US Census Department. Big Government sucks! "The bigger the government the smaller the citizen!"

I was away from my phone. But I can't figure out how the census bureau would have my cell phone number anyway.

They call day and night - unplugged the answering machine due to political calls. Survey questions should be illegal and some I don't have info like how much house is worth! Most info they ask for is attainable by county clerk, Zillow, etc. I'm disabled and have severe dizziness so don't talk on phone and limit computer use. It would take hours for me to answer all their questions. Intrusion of my privacy.

You need to go to Census.gov and look up all the surveys they do. Census Bureau employees work year round.
