I also received a call from a man with an Indian accent, claiming to be with Geek Squad and they received an alert that my computer was downloading unauthorized information or something like that. I told him I wasn't even on my computer. He got upset when I told him I will not go to my computer. I asked if he even knew who he was calling. He said Yes. I said OK what's my name?! He said some some BS name. I said NOPE THAT IS NOT ME! He then had the nerve to ask me if I forgot my own name!!!! I hung up!
Me too ... was bored so just messed with the dude, but sadly, he took a turn for the ugly and started dirty talk and ended up asking what color my p***y was and well, that sort of ended the fun for me and told him that he had no idea but the call was being traced and that was the last time I received a call on the house phone. Now they are calling my cell ... joy!
Just got the call today. No answer when I picked up. I deleted the number as well. I love looking up phone numbers and reading if others had gotten the same.
Just had guy call from that number. He told me I had Windows errors, I told him I had Mac. He said ok we have Mac error too. I said actually I have iPad. So he was getting frustrated insisted on bugging me and I just hung up.
Call came in on my cell phone, didn't answer it. Glad I looked up the number on this site. I've blocked the caller now. I did buy a new computer this weekend at Best Buy. Coincidence or is there someone inside retail organizations selling info???
They left no message. I don't have any computer problems. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I never answer a # I don't recognize.
I received this call on my cell and work number today. Claims that my firewall is compromised. Asked if I was in front of my computer.
