Read the same ad in Victoria, TX American Classifieds. Did you ever hear from them back about going and inspecting the package or kit?? I was thinking about doing the same thing. I received my info. packet- 15 page pdf document-10.0 MB by e-mail from sender- Descriptor Transmit dtransmit@yahoo.com also another attachment that says it was sent from her Ipad. She "Anna" as she said her name was didn't get my address right first and called me to check it and finally she got it right. She pretty well said the same things and info. everyone else said -- out of Springfield, MO and Husband's name was Dan and his cell number is the (870) 221-1150. She calle and made sure I received the e-mail and said to call her husband with any other questions. Felt like too good a deal and started searching online and here I am.

Did you meet them or send a deposit or what happened???

I called and she said "the contractor ran out of financing before the resort could be built and they were selling off kits," she sounded good, foreign, Springfield, MO, and when I asked her her name, she paused for a bit and said "Michele." At this point, I vowed (to myslef) to go to Springfield MO before I gave any money, and consequently she has never sent the email, plans, etc.. Yes, I agree they should have a website with pictures, and a link to the original supplier. So, I believe that 870-555-5757 shoul not be called. This ad ran in Pueblo.

Yep, same story as all of the aforementioned. The Asian lady is "Anna" and she called me back to make sure I received the email with attachment. I became suspicious when the plans were crude. I was ready to drive also but found this site via Google.

We bought 2 different cabins from Dan. He and his wife are very sweet and willing to help you along the way. We haven't built our homes yet, but have the kits. We had a family crisis that has kept us in IL, but are hoping to get to NE and build our cabin this year. They are totally on the up and up.

I made the same call. Say the ad in the Victoria, TX American Classifieds and it has been running for months. Spoke with both Asian lady, Anna, and Dan Ryan the husband. Have received photos and dimensions etc., via e-mail and also standard mail. No contact address, etc. Has anyone gotten to the stage of buyer's agreement, where some kind of physical address would have to be given? I believe it is a scam and too good to be true also. I wanted to put the cabin south of Smithville, TX. Delivery was the $1850 Dan said. What did that sheriff say, Bob G.? Any other follow up info from anyone else on the site/board? Would like to know.

What did the sheriff do? Please read my post at the bottom of all the other posts. I just called last week, Oct. 9th, saw ad in Victoria, TX and got the same story.

I APPARENTLY HAVE PURCHASED (2) OF THESE KITS FROM A GUY IN EUFALA, OK. AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE I CAN GO TO ACTUALLY PURCHASE MORE PIECES IF I NEEDED TO. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THESE ARE MADE? I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE ORIGINALLY ASKING FOR THESE, BUT I BELIEVE I GOT A PRETTY GOOD DEAL ON THEM AND THE CABIN THAT THE GUY BUILT IN EUFALA TURNED OUT NICELY.

For future reference, Dan and Anna Ryan are NOT operating a business legally in the state of Missouri and there are multiple judgements against them and their company, Missouri Gateway Properties -- one for over $300,000 that they've never paid. Further, this man and his wife use MULTIPLE aliases to do business and in the 1980s and early 90s, they were part of MULTIPLE civil suits in Texas where Ryan ran a scam ripping off investors in rundown, sometimes condemned apartment complexes, that he sold as something entirely different. There are tons of cases in Harris and Montgomery counties in TX, for those looking for proof. Aliases for Dan include Christopher Preboth, Danford Dayn-Ryan, Dan Ryan, and David Ryan. Aliases for Anna include Anna Kim, Michele Kim, Kim Soon Oak, and SO Kim.These people are thieves. This company in particular filed for bankruptcy in the Missouri Western Bankruptcy Court in 2001. When judgements were entered against them in Texas they literally just disappeared.
