I've had calls from 941-961-8518 today and I called 818-451-4026 It's the same guy that harrassed me so I would like him arrested

Wow! I thought something weird was going on. Someone called me last week to say I had defaulted on a loan last May-June(no specified date)-a guy by the name of Kenneth Sammuel(and yes he sounded like he was from India as EC said) but I refused to give him any more information than he had on me. He was pretty persistent and he last week left a voice msg saying to call back or else and wished me best of luck too. I contacted the only company I had gotten a loan from and verified it was paid off and ran it by Experian to see if anything turned out on the credit report. I called the number back but it directed me to someone in California's voice mail and dropped it. And then today I received 2x call from that number posted on here. Now that I know what's going on, the next time I call I'm gonna have some ammo to toss back at those b@st@rds and get them to stop calling me...you guys have been informative and great, thank you!!

Another thing to remember is if this were a legitimate debt, the payday loan company would have contacted you on or around the business day after funds were returned, not months or years after the fact and you'd have been given the opportunity to repay via western union, moneygram or a collection agency.(I know this from experience) Also you cannot be arrested for this; you can be sued or have wages garnished.

My fiance got the same call and she freaked out, I called the local police department and they told me that you can not be arrested for a civil matter, the only thing they would be able to do is serve papers. If you get this call don't send them anything, they will threaten you but it's bs.

Number 818-451-4026 Disconnented

I got a message on my cell phone and a message on my direct work line. I could barely understand the message but it sounded threatening. When you call back the number on caller id, its disconnected and the call back number he gave me sounds like a fax. I really hope the calls dont continue, and I am super irritated they have my information. I did take a loan out previously, but it was paid in full.

Has anyone had any negative filing with their credit history or any cases of identity theft? Because if this is one all big scam and we're all being targeted this is ground for a class action lawsuit and we should all begin to organize.

received call from 941-961-8518 pretending to be a law office and I owe money. They wanted my bank information and lawyers name. I hung up

Oh I like it how these foreigners have American names.. lol.. thats a dead give away that its a scam instead of the foreigner calling himself Abdul Abbu he calls himself James Smith and tries to talk as if he can speak good English, lol what idiots. I just can't believe there are folks out there that really fall for the scam and send these [***] money, must be enough to where they are making some good money or they wouldn't be doing it. These are definately scam artist when I had my first aquaintance with them I filed a police report because the caller said he would shove a bomb up my [***] and blow me up once I told him he was crazy if he thought he was getting any money out of me and was wasting his time trying, that really upset him. Well the police cant do anything because they somehow use old cell phone numbers that are not in service so since I can't call and harrass them, when they call me which once they start it never ends, I either press buttons and laugh and insult them and let me tell you they don't like a taste of their own medicine, the calls will stop for about a week and then I just do the same thing its quite entertaining now. So don't get angry when they call turn the table and make them sorry they ever dialed your number.
