i get a call every few months and in between my husband does. The first time I got a call I researched everything cause I freaked out. I called courthouses to check to see if I was on the docket. Of course I wasn't. the last few times I have told them that I legally have the right to dispute any claim of debt within thirty days of being notified of the debt. Also when asked what the date that the money was supposedly put into my account, they can never provide that. If they are "suing" you they have to provide that information got a call today from 9419618518 to call a Lisa Right back at 4152000284 for a law firm that answers Hello and only after you give your number do they tell you what lawfirm they represent. We have heard Cashnet and Soniccash. I have asked them for the contact information for those companies and they have never been willing to provide me with the info. I finally got real sick and tired after they called my work and made it sound like something was wrong with my kids, that I told them I knew it was a scam, that they should be smarter than to call the same people over and over. especailly after they threatend jail time . . . its been 4-6 months since the last time the threatend me and about 1-2 for my husband. I did ask the guy today if the police got lost trying to come arrest me, plus they threatened to arrest my dad and gma as they are references. They did call my dad and tell him I used him as a referece and he was like so what. . . but not once did they tell him they were trying to get a hold of me. CAN YOU SAY SCAM!!!!!!!!!!! Please don't send these people anything or verify anything-I am going to report this to the authorities as it is harrassment.

Threatening to have me arrested, saying I owed them money, which I do not. Called Secret Service as advised.

I got a call last friday saying the i was in big trouble. they also called my work the same day. Then today 8/10/09 i got a call from the same number(94196118518)ask for my lawyers info and say that i toke out a payday loan back in 2008 and had not payed back. They where able to tell me my address, e-mail,last of 4 # of my ssn and where i worked. Then also told me that i would be having someone come to my door tomorrow morning to take me to court. what should i do.

What a relief to find this site and know that all the threatening calls are just part of a scam. I will sleep much better tonight knowing no one will be coming to my house tomorrow to arrest me and bring me to court, as this idiot was threatening to do.

Received a call from these idiots today, 3 in fact. Same scenerio as everyone else on this page. I do have to admit they use some very interesting tactics when trying to bully people. First call came in and the guy (whom I could not understand) said I was listed as the prime suspect in a criminal case from a payday loan company I have never heard of. After I told him I never heard of the company and not to call again I hung up. He actually called right back screaming at me. At that point I told him that he was being reported to the local/federal law enforcement and hung up again. Idiot called back for a third time and was using alot of profanity,telling me to "shut up Motherf**ker", so I just hung up. These guys are nothing but out of the country scammers, I have dealt with a variety of them for years and nothing ever happens. Please do not validate anything with them and definately do not give them any kind of money. If they have your banking information, you may want to contact your bank and speak with them. These scammers will stop at nothing to try and cause you problems. Btw, the number they called me on was a cellphone not even registered to me.
