05/20.2009. I recieved the same call today. You can hear other solicitors in the back ground. She stated her name was Dawn Williams and left a call back number of 1-408-688-2600. States myself or Attorney needs to call back, and not to ignore call or else she wishes best of luck to I and my children. To me, that is a threat to myself, and my children! I called back to rip them one, only not to be able to place call through, and when trying the 1-9 #, it was a recording of being disconected.

I just received this call on my cellphone and left a voicemail message threatening that me or my attorney had to call and if he doesn't hear from me than he wishes me luck. My sister receives these types of calls at her job all the time. I guess its no way to stop them. They gave me a call back number of 20-234-4071 but called from 941-961-8518.It amazes me that people have time in their lives for this trivial stuff.

they called me a few weeks back as to reference of having a warrant out for me for failing to pay back a payday loan of which I have someone handling all my business and could not tell me who the company. The scared me so bad over the phone telling I needed to submit a letter and fax it over dumb me did it but did not give out any personal or banking information. This is scary my blood pressure was through the roof after getting off the phone

This is the same thing the I was told from these people on May 15th about serving my references and serving me papers. I have to admit I was scared out fo my mind because I have kids and a household to take care of already. I contacted the people who are helping me handle my payday loan repayments and they told me it was a scammed for I am soon to be clear of all my debt. The names I got was John Byrd of some sort.

I got a call from this number at 5:15 AM. It was the same voice that has called me on two other numbers. I told him to take a flying $&#I( because I recognized his voice from before. When I talked to them before he said he was from a law office and I was being taken to court because I didn't pay back a payday loan to NETSPEND. They had all of my personal information including drivers license, SS # etc. THe other numbers they have called me on are: 818-338-5046 and 714-845-0766.

i just got a call too.. they called my cell and work, does anyone know how they are getting our personal information???????

Me too...today I got a call saying warrant out for check fraud, etc. because of a back payday loan from 2007. I made a complaint with my police dept., I plan on calling FBI, Secret Service, etc. as indicated on page 1 of this post. calling my bank to put them on notice and going to alert the credit bureaus to make sure these creeps are not also trying to muscle through and steal my identity.

This number called and stated there was going to be a case filed against me if I did not make a payment towards my account (which they did not give me the name for). They did have my last 4 of my social, e mail, and full name. They kept saying they have everything they need to file this charge against me at "the court house." They would not give me the court house it was going to be filed at. So after my friend searched for this number to find the company name of this caller since I could not understand anything they were saying except if I don't make a payment I'm going to file a charge against you at "the court house," I see this web site and immediately hang up. Then they called back and I yelled at them that they better stop calling me because I'm reporting them to the BBB. I was yelling at this point.

I had a voice message from (941) 961-8518 from a very foreign man screaming into the phone over and over again that I needed to retain an attorney and call him back immediately regarding a time sensitive legal matter and left a callback number of (818) 338-5053. Every time I call this number i get a busy signal. When I call the number he called from it says "verizon wireless, this number is no longer in service". I figure it must be a scam of some sort but I really was angry that I didn't get the chance to get a hold of someone to let them have a piece of my mind. I've saved the voice message just in case I get any more calls so I can report them to my state's attorney general (I am on my state's no call list).
