Recieved a call from this # claiming to be a representative from the California States Attorney's Office stating that I had taken out a payday loan and never paid it back. Had my bank information, home address and Employer's name, but refused to give me any details on what company the loan originated from,how much the loan was from, a bank deposit referencing # or anything until I agreed to pay the loan off in full. Called back the number and it was some girl's answering machine named "Sarah".

Received 2 phone calls from this number. They left a message and are asking for my husband and stating he has 30 minutes to contact them or he will suffer consquences. I tried calling the number that they called from. The number is a Verzion number that has been disconnected.

Me and my wife have been getting these kinds of calls as well. We have been dealing with these fools for about 6 months, they keep calling. They are using VoIP to make these calls, with a bogus number for Caller ID. Me and my wife both being in telecom, I am working to find a real number, so I can report this to the correct people.

Called me this morning saing at 2 pm court papers will be 'filed' against me. i asked him who ws the plaintiff and he did not know the meaning of the word plaintiff. told him i am an attorney. i hung up on him.

First and foremost this guy who called me from 941-961-8518 would not state clearly and concisely to who he was. You could tell his accent was heavy in an Indian decent. I asked him if I could speak to some who could understand ENGLISH.. He sd no one was available.. I asked him to speak to a supervisor and he refused. I told him that I could not understand him and then hung up. He called back less than one minute later. He then said that if I hang up he would issue a warrant for my arrest. I then stated him to give me to a supervisor, he then refused. I h/u. My husband answered the next time around. The man would not give him any information. The man then said that I would be arrested if this debt was not paid in 24 hours. My husband asked to speak to a supervisor. He refused. The man on the phone then asked for my husband’s SS# My husband hung up. My Husband refused to give it. The man said something about obstruction of justice. This happened 10 times in 10 minutes. Then the man on the other end decided to call my other phone line in my house. I ignored the call. After further review I was able to find this website. I then immediately calld the local police dept and filed a formal complaint. I have also notified the FBI and the FTC. My concern is this. I feel for the people who fall prey to this. I am concerned about the elderly. They don’t know any better sometimes and I can almost bet that these people will be more so to be victims. I hope that we all as Americans put a stop to all other this foreign fraud… I am sick and tired of the crap that we have to put up with. NO Wonder we are in a recession .. we keep allowing the foreign soil to take out money without our say so..

Got a call from 941-961-8518 and the number is not listed with Verison. This is a scam and don't give out your information or any banking or SSN info.

I just received a call from this number on my work phone. I was getting calls from this number on my cell phone as well, until I filed a complaint with number. They left an annoying phone message on my voicemail, it sounds like inaudible screaming on the message. When they had called my cell and I answered the phone it was an inaudible person talking about children and not making any sense at all. I work in a federal agency and I have my work information on my voicemail.

I've received 6 or 8 calls from this number since yesterday 12/18 to my cell and work number and several calls from 831-219-7252 stating the same info that I had received a loan and if I didn't pay it back I would be arrested.This man is evil.

I keep getting a call on my cell phone saying that there is legal action against me and what is my last 4 digits of SSN - there is a lot of static and the man is very hard to understand. The first call was caller id 1-941-961-8518 and when I hung up on him he called me right back and it came up as private on my caller id - he was mad that I hung up on him and just kept redialing and calling me back.
