Just got spam email with a bizarre message and figure that the message simply wants you to call the number at some high $$$$-per-minute charge rate. Ignored the message, but posting it here in case anyone else sees it.----------------WTF!!3 days ago I received a message from 9722840600 - 972-284-0600 and I thought the call was a scam.So without thinking, I went nuts - and called the the company and screamed at the top of my lungs.You will never believe it... Gulf Coast Western -the oil company- was trying to make contact to approve my job application - apparently I got the job!Anybody know how I can fix this???

Just got a call from 972-284-0600 - the guy "Andy" (who said his direct line was -0609) asked for my boss (a doctor) who's name is Richard. "Andy" called him "Rich" when my boss actually goes by Dick - the first sign that he has no business calling. He said that "Rich" expressed interest in their project which "puts together groups of doctors and engineers to help with the off-coast oil drilling problems." Sorry, but I don't know what a brain surgeon knows/cares about oil. NO THANKS.
Received a call from these folks. They wanted to speak with the owner. Owner has given me carte blanche to do what I'd like with persistent callers. So I hung up on them. Yeah, not super creative but I'm out of coffee this morning. Anyway, got IT to block the number. I love our IT guys. I will buy them some Mountain Dew today.
