Received call on my cell phone. The person calling asked me if I wanted to invest in a "rick free" oil drilling venture.
I got a call from these folks last week. They sent a very well-done brochure from their company, tons of legal-speak. I had, fortunately, Googled the number and company. They had multiple web sites with slightly different names explaining that their company "is not a scam", and is dedicated against scammers. (That told me a great deal right there.) Well, it's not a scam, but it does appear risky--not a good investment. Anyway, the guy finally gets me again today. I politely tell him I'm not interested. He continues, "Well, when can we get together and talk about it again?" I realize that he didn't get it and won't shut up. I politely say, "I'm not interested", and hang up. 3 seconds. He calls back. Me: "Don't call me again." He starts a very angry, ugly, rude diatribe. "We're not going to send you a packet again!" (I'm worried..) "I don't want one." Then starts attacking me personally about paying higher taxes. Totally uncalled for. A good business would not permit this kind of abuse. Well, even if I invest with them, I still pay taxes but might get more back--but I STILL LOSE MONEY ON THE DEAL.Don't waste your time or your money. Find a solid certified financial advisor.

This knucklehead just called my company and had the owners name so he sounded official but thanks to Google it has been exposed to us that he's just some [***] who can't seem to hold a regular job so he has to steal for a living, I hope he enjoys his stay in the pits of Hell
Said he was from Gulf Coast. Looked it up and it's in Texas, but he had more of a northwestern accent. We only do business in our own state so I let him sit on hold and he hung up.

They have called twice but don't leave a voicemail. With the rise if AI voice spoofing, I won't take the chance. Snail mail, text or detailed vmail is the only way to engage with me, stay safe and pray that God touches the hearts of these scammers.
